if you are using so much a day, isn't wired broadband like streamyx better?

mobility is always more expensive, unless u carry around your P1 modem to everywhere you go...

btw still cheaper than dial-up/ISDN

It true. I play 24 hours 192kbps online radio streaming. few day already use up few GB already.
If someone use it for Bittorent. 1 Weeks already exceed the limit.

So to those who already is using the service, faced any frequent disconnections thus far(if theres any that is)?

Which is why usually wireless broadband services are not meant for really heavy usage. It is catered for those who are always on-the-move or just need a broadband for daily web browsing and some light downloading.

If like mobile phone plan, once the credit limit is reached, you cannot make any call.

max capped means only charges is freeze, but account still active and still can use

if you reaches RM138 cap for Discover and Explore package and RM188 for Extreme package, you can still use, but your speed will be throttled down to 128kbps.

by the way, the package offered and their data limit :
Discover : RM58 - 3GB
Explore : RM108 - 10GB
Extreme : RM188 - 20GB

these packages are not meant for heavy torrent downloaders.
If you are one, then you might better off with streamyx, with unlimited data, though it's throttled.

Imagine, if somebody is hogging the bandwith and affect the quality of service offered, would you be happy with that?

Well to me, I don't think it is lousy at all especially for those who are using it as a mobile broadband. If DiGi maintains their network then it really is worth the money.

After visit US and Euro, i could said our wireless HSDPA is over claim and over sell.

Would believe Digi will deliver and they promise with fair usage policy.
I would got nothing to lose as there is no contract.
I'm subsidised on mobile broadband and just using it as back up for TMnut.

The way Digi pricing now means only those can afford will sign up.

With that pricing,i am sure the service will be top notch.

Question on the Extreme package,

2Mbps with 20GB, capped at 188RM, so after i download more then 20GB, since the price is capped, that means my speed gets throttled? if throttled, then throttled to how much?

That's right. Currently using Streamyx + Celcom (HHA package). I was looking foward to some serious competition from DIGI. That's why i said Streamyx still owns this country...sad...

i accept it. i don think lousy with other internet services provide. digi can give our good speed and word it. if u download over 3gb or 10gb u speed still same won be slow down but the only will me charging untill rm138 after rm138 the speed still same wont be slow down. for 20gb download permonth also samer wont be slow donw after u use more than 20gb. i think digi give volum to over digi bb use quite good.

yeah i'm agree, digi always fullfill their word, that's why people do less complaint
