is it the way that motions like suddenly spend up on these tv, because that what i think i am seeing.

The video will look very smooth...in fact too smooth I think, doesn't feel like you're watching a movie.

It gives a very "fake" feel to it.

Watch movie, then watch something recorded with a camcorder/home made movie.

Then you watch a movie with 200Hz.

200Hz actually screws up some effects.

The movie is meant to be watched at lower fps, so when watch at 200Hz, some effects (most notably, motion blur) will be missing.

Go Best Denki 1U and watch Transformers 2 BD (they have it on loop there wink.gif ) and see what I mean sad.gif

Yea... very unnatural, especially if u see something passes by like speeding car, u can see some weird "haze" trail effect.. something like bullet-time effect.. u know... the bullet slowdown effect.. has those trail effects behind it?.. basically like tat.. lol...

If not mistaken, u can "disable" the 200hz/100hz, that will chg back to good old 50hz/60hz, or am i missing something here.. blush.gif

Cheers biggrin.gif

Hello, fellow LCD gurus, i need some advice here. I'm planning to get a new LCD tv sometime this month or next, budget around 4k and 40 inch size. Most important is picture quality and framerate, coz im gonna use it with PC and PS3. Sound quality completely unnecessary, coz i already have speakers. So what models do you guys recommend? Thanks

I think Panasonic will only official release worldwide on next year. But in some countries, their already got demo unit and if not mistaken, currently UK got roadshow for these type of TV.

I only know Panasonic got this type of TV and you also need 3D FullHD Blu-ray Player and other accessories like following items:

Best in terms of price or best in terms of specs? Or maybe even best in terms of reviews, popularity, etc? You need to be a bit more specific.

Alas, "One man's meat......" sweat.gif

if cannot wait S10K is a good choice. If you want higher, V and G is most better.
Anyway, remember one thing, match up with your source <---> TV spec, this should be your answer sweat.gif
