why im not having network problem yesterday? im working @ gurney plaza penang from morning till night.. can make calls, sms, n YM like usual without interuption...
i only notice celcom got problem when my fren told me after going back from work.. my celcom OK n his celcom KO... FYI, im using UMTS network all the time while my fren use GSM network (not 3G capable fon)...

and then i put his sim card to my fon n select UMTS only then his celcom can use flawlessly....

waiting for celcom compensation now even my line OK.
hehehe

I was on holiday at PD yesterday and was shocked to found out about this interruption today. The whole of my family use (except me) use Celcom and have no problem what so ever. Nway Celcom must ensure this is the first and the last interruption

QUOTE(cardin @ Sep 25 2009, 10:01 AM)
according to official statement the service interruption restored --> BERNAMA
here in sepang celcom up already TNB went down last nite till 9.40 diz morning...haiya what a duper bad luck..
all services are working fine except for calls going in n out... haha...20mins is juz nice, me 30mins...fuh.. doh.gif  if maxis cs, wonder how much  moneyflies.gif flying out... sweat.gif

No wonder, since their network was down, the customers can only call CS which make the call center call volume jump and they cannot cope.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Sep 25 2009, 10:03 AM)
for maxis postpaid u call 123. After few rings someone answered edi

Since only a few customers are making inquiries or having problems, the call center can handle every call within a few rings. Imagine if the same problem happen to Maxis, do u think it will be answered within a few rings?

wake up this morning and tadaaa.. my phone is finally working as usual.. thanks celcom for restoring the services..

750 milions calls made within this festive season? that a huge number of calls made (i think he mean, 750 milion calls for the whole week).. i myself made more than 50 calls a day before this terrible tragedy..

then when their switch overloaded, everyone will try to call free careline 1111 at the same time, that resulting much more problem.

If everyone answer the calls it will not allow any more calls. But celcom they love to put ppl on hold for music.
Imagine they put 500 ppl on hold sure system crash lor

Last time i call 1111 lucky its free they put me on hold for half an hour. Imagine how many calls can put on hold within that mins

My Celcom 013 was out of coverage for a good whole 5 minutes just a while ago.

Luckily it's not my main line.
