For update. Just tried calling out thru a celcom no. Network FULL BAR but when call just get two beep and the call ended

haha..since wht so call "TODAY" is roughly around 1hr 10mins left...dat means, celcom ask for gudnite sleep lorh, dun giv the network "kejang" during diz fixing time... tongue.gif dun make "kacau" to them... whistling.gif

yeah...same like broadband...online does not mean u r connected to wht so call "internet" u may be connected but to the "local" only not the "internet".. doh.gif

they said several area to make ppl feel wah relief finally celcom doing something but the truth is all areas are still downn HAHAHAHA

so stupid la celcom. The phone will auto keep scan and scan for network. Its like after u change a simcard they say try to use your phone 2hrs later. But actually within 5mins u can already

i dun c any relief on diz...imagine, 8hrs? angry person will sure not "lega" one...they will fight to the end...sure they'll have intention to migrate to yellow n green networks except celcom give some incentive for diz failure n inconvenience time to the customer.. drool.gif hope celcom do think about it... brows.gif

imagine u cant call your parents, urgent meeting, urgent cases.., worse is those under 1+5 affected so badly because all under celcom network.

if me i also frustrated imagine emergency ppl pregnant or watever reason ppl will thought u ignore them or watever reason

Lucky i ported all my no out already. Even my celcom no i ported to maxis HYC so i am not effected at all

for me i think there is must be gud reason for dat method...it works i guess...last time when diz happen to me my phone still showing "emergency calls only" while my frenz phone already working fine wif "my celcom" on the screen...im using SE n he is using nokia...

because in nokia phones have a setting auto and manual.

U choose auto it will keep scanning scanning until it gets a signal. I am not very sure about SE

erm i dun think maxis is a gud move for me...during raya celom n digi did well in managing their networks... try not to "kejang" while maxis still like many years before always in kejang mode during hari raya.. sweat.gif

i own maxis,digi and celcom.

Maxis coverage and stability within festival was ok. Celcom was bad in city sometimes cant call out. Digi was great all year long.

actually its not about raya or not, but this time is hardware failure.. their main switch is not working.

walau tats an excuse. How can they have the widest coverage and no backup method? If it happen twice a year? Imagine it made ppl lost few thousand hundred money how le?

yes, they should have contingency/disaster recovery plan.. money losses still ok, but how about life losses? imagine people died because can't call ambulans..

i guess its all area dependent... me in my "kampung" maxis will sure stuck during festive season midnite...while digi n celcom working well... smile.gif

peak network/high traffic might contributes to hardware failure...imagine u force yr thing i.e. electrical equipment, sure it will down quickly than it suppose to... celcom networks really2 forced to cater high usage...
