Celcom's targets youth segment with 15 pax, data

Kuala Lumpur, 16 May- Celcom yesterday announced that their prepaid plan, Xpax will allow users to call their 15 favorite numbers (15pax)for 12 sen a minute, while each text message to Celcom and non-Celcom numbers will cost half a sen and six sen respectively.
As for normal, non-15pax call rates, the new plan allows customer to calls at 38 sen a minute, while each text message will cost 10 sen. 
The plan allows customers to register for up to two years before credit expiry. The starter pack is priced at RM 8.50, with RM5 airtime. The Xpax has daily unlimited data plans at RM6 daily, customers can also opt for the weekly RM20 plan. 

                      
The revamp came as Celcom plans’ target the youth segment, and throughthat take the number one spot in the local telco market. Celcom CEO,Dato’ Sri Shazalli Ramly said that the youth has more demands and notjust voice or text services, and that their need to virtual socialisation will require Celcom to adapt their strategies.

If you ask me, very costly. I visited The Star Mobile website, few articles already RM4. Damn, should have just bought newspaper. What are the data rates outside of Malaysia? I think it should be 10sen for 1MB. That seems reasonable to me.

question. if i check my bill using the *118# will i be charge?

no, i mean i reload my old xpax in order to make sure it active.. then transfer back the credit to my current UOX. because if im not mistaken credit transfer cannot be use to make any number active.

if credit transfer can be use to make my old xpax active, then no hassle la coz what i only need to do is just transfer rm1 from my UOX to my old xpax for every 3 month lol...

epool... but i asked celcom cs last time and they said to me that credit transfer are not being counted as u reloaded so, it cant be take in as u've reloaded into ur nos... tis is a risk if u reload ngam ngam on the 99days... i oso have my nos just to receive calls... so, i only leave it till 2 months after credit expiry and reload rm10 into it... better not take the risk as celcom system really aren't as 'stable' as the others... hehe...

you know, i have one fren currently working at VADS, she is one of the celcom careline. last time her company want to do the test/quiz to test their knowledge about celcom product/services and she keeps sms me asking me to help her answer the question haha.. i think i should replace her la, let me do the quiz.. 

this kind of staff actually make the celcom careline service reputation bad..

our indentity, our brand, our trademark... all gone! they (axiata) should realise that celcom is the main contributor to their revenue and profit.. we contribute about 50% of the axiata profit. other subsidiary? nothing.. XL indonesia only giving losses, Idea India always ask money for so-called 'investment for future'.. Samart? selling not laku i-mobile.. M1 singapore? only the tiny small telco in singapore.. so Celcom is the only company giving a solid profit to the axiata!

Celcom is a big brother in axiata family.. celcom giving money to mum every month.. while the rest only a little brother, they keep asking money from mum each month..
