I just bought a Civic 1.8 but still no USB input  sad.gif

HI..
Just check with other owners here..my first full tank allowed me to clock a mileage of only 320kms..i understand that new car needs time to 'settle' down and smoothen the engine flow. But 320 km is just too little.. Is it normal for your cars when you first bought it?

I checked with the Honda service centre. they said the fuel consumption will decrease but after the first 5000km. Is it true?

P/s I am not an accelerator type driver...just a normal one.

Thanks

Cause you buy cheaper by rm1k.

Seriously, is USB input that usefull and important? Even now the model provide audio jack input (Ipod), do you guys use it?

You must learn how to drive a civic car in order to save fuel. Your exciting about your new car, old habit and heavy foot overcome your sense of saving fuel. tongue.gif

Probably... At first my Civic 2.0s only clocked about 8km/l... Now my mileage is 10500km... and fc is about 11km/l.

And USB is very useful... No need Cd, you can change song as u want...

AUX jack is different, your player battery depletes over time, and its direct play and broadcast, so if your player sound not good, the playback also not good. USB plays the file format and quality itself.

yes full tank 320 is too little.

my 06 fd2 can get around 420kms for full tank.

but normally i will pump rm 60 and the mileage should be around 300 to 320kms

320km is shockingly little..my other Vios can go at least 480km per full tank..Imagine the difference sweat.gif

Are you using RON95 or 97? Any difference in engine??
I am pumping my second full tank. Want to see if there is any difference in the mileage.

hello civic experts,

i am total beginner on cars...just bought a 1.8 civic..doesnt have a side mirror turning light...do u guyz think if this can be installed on any car accessory shop? I like led strips on the head light so if this possible as well...

i heard that honda is very case sensitive that if u make any changes related to electricty, there will be a lot of other problems in future.

sad also that there is no usb input cry.gif 2.0 is out of stock in my town

I'm using esso RON 95 here.

RM 60 can get 300km to 320km, very consistent.

Guys, the more I see the discussion here, the more gatal I am to change my car. In case anyone would know, is the price of Civic fixed in all dealerships? Is it possible that some salesperson in any particular shop might be able to give additional discounts?

capix, if you've been shopping around, do let me know if you've found good deals.

Another questions for you guys here, do you know what's the lead time from booking date until when the car arrives? Is it faster for 1.8 or 2.0 or certain colors? Want to find a dealership that can deliver the car the fastest.

Not sure but I'm already waiting mine (2.0, White) for almost two month plus and still don't have any good news from my SA.
