Ordered a 2.0S Civic with the new Titanium Grey colour.

Car is to be delivered in April, but I may change it to Black once I see the car when it launches in March.. depending on how it looks like

on paper, the colour looks pretty okay, but im afraid i may not like the new colour and opt to go for something more generic but has a nice feel..

cant really go wrong with a black car.

new civic AGAIN? wtf i just bought mine only last year around 5 months back..so far handling all superb! going to convert the bodykit at a shop i found in klang that does very good job for exceptional prices.

Wanting to ask some Vtec sifu. The new Civic is iVtec. What can we do to modify the engine to make it on par with Big Vtec or Small Vtec. Sorry my knowledge not so good!

If we put piping for the civic, the sound of the Vtec is clear and loud or not. Theres paddle shift so i presume we can hear the Vtec open at a high RPM? Just checking before i proceed in converting the whole car in March.

For my opinion, the Taffeta White color is quite ugly on the civic. The white color is just too white. Not to said when it get dirty. The white color that is look nice on civic is champion white with those type R. Why honda don't use it on normal civic? Anyway color are subjective.

Just went through the specs sheet on honda's website. Some changes:

1) Heat absorbent glass for both 1.8 and 2.0
2) Side mirror turning light now available to 1.8 too 
3) Single CD player and USB input for 1.8 and 2.0

hye...planning to get civic really soon...but afraid if honda will launch new gen for civic..any update

Another questions for you guys here, do you know what's the lead time from booking date until when the car arrives? Is it faster for 1.8 or 2.0 or certain colors? Want to find a dealership that can deliver the car the fastest.

Anyway, it is good to have my car tinted by the Honda Service Center? I mean they settle everything up for me before I getting my car.

I did survey about the price and their price is somehow reasonable.

Actually I kinda agree with OmniMech on a 9 year loan, however I personally believe it should never be taken despite the car being new or (worst) second hand. 9 years for a car seems like something a person wishful wants beyond their means of affording it. By the time the vehicle is paid off, it may be practically worthless from all the money paid. Not shooting anyone, but its just financially specious. After all, a Civic is quite premium for its class and its not that you don't have a choice.

But not telling anyone how to spend their money. But just stay out of debt in the quickest time possible.
Also bear in mind, general cars are just liabilities in the end.

Just my blunt 2 cents. No offence to anyone.
Back to the main topic: Taffeta White 2.0 is expected to come in next week!

Any exterior pictures of the newer FL? 

Btw, I never understood the difference between the 1.8 & 2.0 in terms of the blue ambient light? 1.8 apparently doesnt have it, but I kinda see no difference, anyone to enlighten me on this?

The exterior is suppose to get some enhancement ie. LED tail lights and from what someone posted, dual tail pipes!

Ahhhh... okay so it's just a small difference. Was wondering what it was thanks! 

You got to learn how to accelerate and the way pressing the paddle. The car will learn your habit driving and suit to your mode. Civic using drive by wire.

Example as you keep high rpm and change gear and drop back for long, the car will enter sport mode. (rally)

The ambient light is just make you feel romantic and the mode. That is why it call ambient.  When you in very dark place, you can see the blue light shine to the gear stick surrounding. You can feel the calm mode. 

Just gotten the Taffeta White!

Yeah, the tail lights are still the same... but the 3rd break light is LED :/ not sure if it was before or not
