QUOTE(Neo_Y @ Jan 22 2010, 01:39 PM) First launch at 2006 and facelift it at 2009. According to their product life cycle, another 2 years to go for them to release the "all new" civic. It probably will release during 4th quarter of year 2011 or the 1st quarter of 2012. Got told the same thing by my Honda SA. contemplated. and couldnt hold my self back.. Ordered a 2.0S Civic with the new Titanium Grey colour. Car is to be delivered in April, but I may change it to Black once I see the car when it launches in March.. depending on how it looks like on paper, the colour looks pretty okay, but im afraid i may not like the new colour and opt to go for something more generic but has a nice feel.. cant really go wrong with a black car.

Yeah, its some new colour that is being launched in March along with the newest civic spec.
Apparently the radio is being changed along with a few other additions which my sa wasnt sure about as well.
I was also told by the sa, that any booking after feb 28th will honour the new civic price, which I assume will only be higher rather than lower >_<
Even though my car isnt here yet, I am very keep to get a mugen body kit on. nothing overly flashy, just the front lip side skirts and the back skirting with the spoiler.
Any civic owners can point me in the right direction ?
= \ im not a modder. lolx. might go for some performance upgrades after the warranty is over but not before. plus the fact that the car would probably keep me poor for a few months till my next increment . lolx

new civic AGAIN? wtf i just bought mine only last year around 5 months back..so far handling all superb! going to convert the bodykit at a shop i found in klang that does very good job for exceptional prices.
Wanting to ask some Vtec sifu. The new Civic is iVtec. What can we do to modify the engine to make it on par with Big Vtec or Small Vtec. Sorry my knowledge not so good!
If we put piping for the civic, the sound of the Vtec is clear and loud or not. Theres paddle shift so i presume we can hear the Vtec open at a high RPM? Just checking before i proceed in converting the whole car in March.
Your feedback is highly appreciated.

There isin't any nice VTEC sound from the K20Z3....If there is, it's pretty faint. Nobody can tell the difference across at all. The engine is tune for economy, not performance. The most you can hear is prolly a little louder roaring but that's about it. Nothing can be done unless you just plunk a K20A inside. That's about it. Getting Started

The FD Civic is using K20Z2, with only economy VTEC on the intake, running on 2 sets of cam lobe, along with VTC. There is nothing you can do to make it on par with the real VTEC out there unless you change the cam, camshaft and almost all to resemble a type R engine.
Bro omnimech, about bodykit... You can try search around, but GC Motorsport does all for the FD club, all side skirting is 1400 + spoiler 400... PP Material... Painting and installation included.
+ Can pm me about changes in the new civic you talk about?

hi,
how much is the petrol cost consumed for your Honda Civic VTec? Mine one RM40 ron97 can last for 160-170km nia if driving normally in towns.
How about yours?
