If that dynorun is to be believed... impressive! That guy really knows his Campro engine. Hope he can have more mods on the CPS soon, so we no need to be guinea pig. Haha...

Wow, 1000 posts...
Happy CPS-ing everyone!!

humm... Neo just for fuel only...  if fully tune sure not impressive..  we need 2 tune ign timing oso... that will effect much on our engine...  not worth buying expensive items like that...

better save money for haltech interceptor or unichip.... that item can tune afr and ignition timing... than the most important is tuner....

have a look this page
http://bluedevil76.blogspot.com

he know how to tune campro with unichip.... he already successful tune campro for 153whp...  sure can tapau vtec.. stock vtec only got 120-140whp...

That car is not stock, it uses highcam and throttle body are rebored already.

Anyway, how does people get nice dyno chart like that (with color and stuff)? hmm.gif

No point getting stand alone unless planning for extensive mod. nod.gif

which means if really serious about engine mods have to fork out lotsa lotsa cash flex.gif
otherwise go for light/ simpler mods.

did i get that right?

I like the feet lamp too. What's the position you installed it? I think if got time this week I'll see if can find an acc shop that can hook one up with the dome light switch.

well making the LED module is not difficult actually, only need to do some soldering. But the searching for the correct wires is real challenge. The worst thing is I do not have CPS to check for the wiring.

huh i forgot zen...must be tough to get the cps there...ehh eujin can wut laugh.gif me onli next next month will be around laugh.gif

bc for working recently
u guys keep on to modding alr,
and i just getting my car
and i on the list?

paigia - waja (MT)  blue agate - kl kepong cheras

not regret to buy MT than AT(all my friend suprise tat i buy MT ,hmmm kl ppl all love AT), its pleasure to drive it althrough it's MT, it's nice to drive even traffic jam, it's good respone on low rpm and the clutch no need to engage so much..

any tt soon?

not all kl love AT maa...if want cilok2 rushing racing to office ...better MT.. thumbup.gif
tt? still waiting others...

If really serious on modding, better straight go for force induction. Value for money and satisfaction gurantee. thumbup.gif

Anyway, I'm more interested in the Neo because I want to try different setting on my car and learn. And IMHO, its also the safer management as it only controls the air and let the ECU control the fuel. In a sense that ECU still control most part of the car management such as ignition timing, which if wrongly tuned can cause reliability problem. nod.gif

This mod is for Campro, but for CPS, I think further "exploration" need to be done as CPS is totally different from Campro, right? hmm.gif

Actually the base engine is the same right? Just that with the addition of CPS and VIM it changes the characteristic of the performance.

humm... totally different??? all na engine do same mod to gain power..... but now all can custom already... no need to wait oledy.... have money go for it....

- increase cc - bigger piston(oversize campro piston), stroker
- increase compression ratio - hi compress piston (can use campro 1.3 piston), skin head, thin metal gasket
- better flow efficiency - port & polish ,valve necking,3 angle valve cut, exhaust system , intake porting ,tb , camshaft, bigger valve etc
- tune afr & ign timing to optimum - unichip is the cheapest, megasquirt(this maybe need to change to old style throttlebody)
- cool air intake
- lighten - rim, body, moving part (crankpully, flywheel) etc
- low viscosity lub oil. ( engine oil & gearbox )
- remove unwanted load from engne ( remove powersteering, aircond compressor )
- gearbox ratio - change final drive or individual gear
- tyre circumference
- sharp edge crankshaft - need to dynamic balance
- more efficient engine - do piston ceramic coating, sleeve coating, race engine bearing
- colder engine bay - thermal warp exhaust or ceramic coating
- better electrical system - grounding & voltage stabilizer ( to ensure engine running at optimum )

i think thats all mod to gain power from na engine.... maybe still have some miss..

we oso need to do sporting mod to ensure engine running in safe condition...
- more cold heat range spark plug - faster transfer heat from combustion chamber
- radiator
- ensure engine no knocking
- metal gasket ( no need to worry, campro already metal)
- low resistance spark plug cable or hi power coil - to ensure engine no miss firing coz of hi compress engine
- use hi octane fuel -less knocking & preignition
- ensure no sharp edge in combustion chamber - can coz preignition
- etc

hope this can help...

interesting... maybe can get qoute for E2 bearing from SKF, know sum of their application engineer... anybody know the bearing number...

how does ceramic coating actually help improving engine efficiency...

but if use neo.... you need to know that item cheat yr signal form map sensor to ecu ....the map sensor signal 1-5volt, it variable depend on intake manifold pressure..... so if you decrease fuel at neo..... ecu will read low signal from map sensor & inject less fuel.... map sensor signal not only control fuel map... it also interrelated with ignition map... so less map sensor signal.... ecu will advance the ignition timing ... so you need to know how to tune it.... it dangerous also if someone play with it... kekekekekkee...

so from what i tell you above.... you can still play with ignition timing with neo..... hehehehe.... thats the tuner secret to get advance ign timing...... but need to counter back fuel with other devices.... hehehe

need to know more pm me.... tongue.gif

if coating..... the heat will not easily loss from combustion chamber.... more heat more power to push piston....
but it not improve much in term of power....

the main coating function to keep piston cold.... normally use for turbo ( more heat producer).... + oil nozzel spray at bottom of piston.... that piston can survive at extreme condition...

this ceramic coating worth if you increase compression ratio over 13:1 .... at 13:1, you cannot use 97 octane petrol... need to race fuel to ensure yr engine can survive....

3) Rear Passenger Door Sensor (Driver side) not working well blink.gif

4) Rear Door Side Rubber/Moulding (Driver side) fly off mad.gif

5) Fuel Sensor not accurate , need to adjust sweat.gif

6) Check what is the clip thingy for , why drop when I pump petrol doh.gif

Neo can only alter fuel reading... and by doing that, we can also indirectly alter the ign timing (when ECU detect rich/lean mixture).

Maybe will ask JC racing, because their gen2 with Neo have won a race at Sepang.

BTW, where to dyno to get graph like that? Usually dyno graph will not be that smooth... hmm.gif
