may i know your ram speed, because i do upgrade to 4GB mushkin ram and its boost up my 1066Mhz to 1333Mhz, so far no problem but i got 1 panic kernel when my brother open everything and it stuck a while then kernel panic happen. i googling around and read people said that their battery performance drop a while but i don't think it still the same, 4 to 5 hour battery life for me. im using macbook pro 13" and mushkin enhanced 2x2GB by the way. price rm168 per piece.

You should upgrade to 2x2gb. mushkin, kingston, or corsair gaming or mac memory. cause for doing your architecture and interior works needs more memory. Further ease multitasking with 4gb ram. cheers. smile.gif

Actually if you see their websites, they do manufacture RAMs and supply the chips to others.

Just went to epicenter to get the mobileme renewal and asked them if they carried any RAMs, and they have hynix etc but not Kingston. Price for 2x2GB is RM599. Mmmm should I just go with KVR or Corsairs?

After i installed MS OFFICE 08', i think my computer needs a distinct ram upgrade from 2GB to 4GB. How much is a 2x2GB stick for MBP (mid 09') ?
