Yes Apple don't produce any RAM but what I meant from mac RAM is RAM that's been certified by Apple to be fully compatible with their product. That's why Kingston have 2 brand: KTA = Apple Certified Kingston RAM KVR = Kingston Value RAM (normal over the shelf ones) Apple certified RAMs are more expensive than those normal ones. Actually if you see their websites, they do manufacture RAMs and supply the chips to others.

Just went to epicenter to get the mobileme renewal and asked them if they carried any RAMs, and they have hynix etc but not Kingston. Price for 2x2GB is RM599. Mmmm should I just go with KVR or Corsairs?

1 stick of 4gb SODIMM also very expensive, sumore get 2x4gb. Going to cost an arm and a leg la.
But does your system support 8gb? |

Just upgraded the RAM to 4gb and feels super fast. It's from strontium ... what a weird name.
Running Win7 in parallels is soooo smooth. |
