u sure about that? can post ur About this Mac window? afaik the FSB is fixed
imac i5 still uses 1066MHz DDR3 SODIMMs, same with the current macbooks
*
Any idea where I can get them ? Altho my i5 is 4gb, it's not enough when I go full power squeezzing process of editing tiff files converted from raw + filters and whatnots. It'll start to crawl....

Edited : I just saw the price list in C-Zone. KINGSTON PC1066 D3/ CORSAIR PC1066 D3 Notebook Ram 2GB RM175 / 4GB RM600. Is this the one ?

seems like that's the one. wait is 4gb rm600 now?

ok thanks, will look into getting that then. Ya it's RM600 as stated there. hmm I didn't keep track of the pricing. is RM600 a good deal? I'm thinking of just upgrading with another 4gb (2gbx2).

4Gb rm600 should be single module 4Gb
i'm looking into it as well, but the price seem killing my pocket

so 1333Mhz ram will got downclock by mac? still run at 1066?
*
depends. i read somewhere that the new i5 and i7 is able to accept 1333mhz as this is the hardware specs of i5/i7. I have no idea why apple puts in 1066mhz instead.

firstly, 1333 mhz is quite new
when apple intro unibody mac, only 1066 available in market, the board only take 1066 ( as FSB rating)
and so far, no i5/i7 chip on mac yet

yea that's for macbook, i'm referring to imac actually.
