i saw this from teamcity
they claim it as mugen's product  sweat.gif

can i know wats the use of this red thing?

It's a Mugen spoiler, alright but for a Civic. I've seen these spoilers used on the previous Cities and I must say it looks fugly... since the size and design does not go well with the previous City.

As others have mentioned, it's a brake caliper cover and it does not have any use except to increase the bling-bling factor(look good for some people, not me). I strongly advised not to put it as excessive heat may melt the cheap plastic cover over your current calipers.

The muffler kinda degraded the car, I prefer the muffler isn't revealed (hidden).

And the rims looks kinda tiny for S spec. Only once inch difference with the E spec rims but the S spec rims looks so small hence, not that attractive.

Hi guys. was wondering.. is the Civic worth getting compared with the new City in terms of overall performance, feel and looks?

The extra $$ worth the upgrade?

Errr... The Civic and City are 2 different cars competing in 2 different market segments.
For the price you pay, it's obvious that you're getting something more 'upmarket'. RM90k for a City and say RM114k for a Civic FD1, that's quite a lot to go. Even more for the FD2.

At the end of the day, it's all up to your budget...and ur requirements
most important, is how deep is ur wallet.
IMHO, if I had a wee bit more cash..my first choice was the Civic.
But economic circumstances made me re-think that I'd better save up for the rainy days
and get the City which meets all my criteria at the moment (ie. no kids, and cheaper maintenance)

Noted. Based on what I've seen like on FB, ppl complain of floating at 140km/h .. so does adding the modulo spoilers and increasing tyre size help?

Coz it looks like there's quite a few complaints here and there, so dunno if they are really justified. Furthermore, by looking at this forum, I believe a potential city owner would need to pick the E spec (paddle shifting for smoother acceleration0, have wider tyres (205 for stability) and tinting (otherwise too hot on hands) as a must addon in order of mitigate some of initial complaints. So with all this top up... a bit more dough can get a Civic with possibly less problems?

Currently driving a 2002 Proton Wira 1.5L AT.

Bodykits indeed make the difference on aerodynamics. For sport rim/tyre size, it's mostly on stability and corners.

No matter what car you got, you've to get tint on your car too. It's no way for your new car interior to be spoilt by our hot sun since we're in the equator.
Civic and City are in different leagues, so I don't really think you can compare both of them. Comparison will never end when you've the reason of "top up a bit". When this term applies, you can get Legend, which is the king of Honda.

civic and city cant be compared ler. but somehow, u can try to compare the current E variant city with toyota altis 1.6. if u have children, u might need bigger space, so u go for altis 1.6 but of course the drawback is lesser power, no 5 speed, no paddle shift etc, if u are younger age u probably will take city i guess hehe...
