QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Jan 21 2009, 11:44 PM) Andy will probably tell you NO! It's because his V-Kool is rusting and peeling. If you can forgo that and want to give it a try, hope you are luckier than him. Also you need to put up with not being SmartTag, GPS friendly. |

Car price will not be revised. If you say discount, it will be from the SA..not from HM. I reckon you should still get about RM600 - RM800 as times are bad and the hype of the new City will wear off a bit. Besides, the economy will prolly hit Malaysia hard in 2009..we look ok now 'cos of the time lag...but once the domino effect happens, you'll see.dunno rate will be 2% or not? Interest rate may be slashed, but to what extend. Probably 25 basis point, perhaps? Try not to speculate..or else you'll never get ur car Added on January 22, 2009, 12:11 am QUOTE(dstyx @ Jan 21 2009, 11:22 PM) I'm wondering how come Honda City Malaysia interior all blackish. I believe the beige interior looks better. Love black too.. much easier to maintain, but it may be dirtier than it looks..hehe!Biege..through experience, gets dirty fast.. makes ur interior look dull Added on January 22, 2009, 12:13 am QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Jan 21 2009, 10:14 PM) Mine will arrive on Friday (so said the SA). Signed the loan papers at 10pm tonight..what a rush..hehe!3.25% @ RM30,000 - 3 yrs Added on January 22, 2009, 12:14 am QUOTE(chris_x @ Jan 21 2009, 09:17 PM) Guys, done our PPS treatment. Check out the pics. Looking good, Chris. Before @ 9am: [attachmentid=773814][attachmentid=773815] After @ 7pm: [attachmentid=773817][attachmentid=773818] No difference? Because it's a new car! Surface is smooth and waxy after PPS. The shinny effect is there, and hoping it will last. You may PM me if you are interested for the group rate. Still haven't had time to call Raymond.. will see whether tomorrow is possible. Hope the shine last Added on January 22, 2009, 12:16 am QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Jan 21 2009, 11:44 PM) My SA recommended WinGard and RikeCool for RM1,600 and RM1,650 respectively.Think a forumer here is offering about RM1,600 for 3M V-Kool, a preference.. you want name, prolly go for it. But since I've had troubles with my Smart Tag.. to me not the best choice. You're paying the premium for its name, if you know what i mean This post has been edited by sysh: Jan 22 2009, 12:16 AM |

QUOTE(Mr Cola @ Jan 21 2009, 11:23 PM) NO!!! Black interior looks better!! But.. everyone has diff taste. For me, I prefer black interior. hehe same same! for me being beige is easier to get dirty and the dirtiness is rather obvious compared to the heat traps by black interior whereby good AC can cool it off in short time. as for style, no chrome nor silver for me, cos those are cheap plastics and the scratches are obvious too. oh definitely no uncle luxurious laminated wood too. so the black interior for this new city is perfect for me |

QUOTE(WheelieWonka @ Jan 21 2009, 10:32 PM) I know this is a late reply, and I had a brief test drive - the car is tuned for comfort, and rides well. But I felt the engine note was a bit too loud when pressed down, its very vocal indeed! Plenty of cheap hard plastics, but decently put together. Noted that the sound quality from the sound system was very good. Although it had 120hp, it certaintly did not feel like it la, I guess tuned more for economy than acceleration. The 1.8 Civic is more refined and gives a better drive, although that's a different class all together. Lots of rear legroom tho! Cheers hey its never too late to reply haha. quite bz lately, but will always find time to read all posts hmm i notice the current gen CRV also has the same cheap plastics by the door there with little fabric only for the arm rest. however, due to its better foam for good sound proofing, it is also heavier and with its good rubber sealant which gives better 'thud' when closed the door compared to the city's hollowness that makes the obvious. is there such services or isit even possible for wrapping the door interior with fabric? QUOTE(elru @ Jan 22 2009, 02:14 AM) hey its never too late to reply haha. quite bz lately, but will always find time to read all posts They use very little foam if any, if you've seen how they take apart car panels at autofoam - Both Vios and City (old) have hollow car chassis with very little sound insulation padding, in fact it's more like close to zero. They use those cheap soft sponge foam thing that people use for packing goods to stuff the side sills and B pillars and it's a miserable small piece as well. The CRV, being more expensive probably has more padding but I'm fairly sure they use those sponge things as well to stuff up the pillars and sills, it's probably a little denser and of bigger size though.hmm i notice the current gen CRV also has the same cheap plastics by the door there with little fabric only for the arm rest. however, due to its better foam for good sound proofing, it is also heavier and with its good rubber sealant which gives better 'thud' when closed the door compared to the city's hollowness that makes the obvious. |

Agreed there about the lack of sound insulation. Will drive the car for a while and see how it goes. If I'm annoyed by the sound, I'll probably Autofoam it. Besides, Autofoam also firm up the chassis and reduce body roll.QUOTE(cysmark @ Jan 22 2009, 09:35 AM) Wanna know what kind of gift or package provided by SA when u guys buy the car.. i only got free tinted... Free gifts vary from one SA to another. Really depends on your 'nego' skills and how generous your SA is. If you get Rike Cool free tinting, then I think it's very good already (depends on your tinting spec). Some of us here only get tinting discounts. Or free door visor or boot tray. Nothing much. If you got the call for submitting documents, it just means they are processing your loan. It does not mean you'll be getting your car soon. Depends on your queue in the waiting list with Honda when you booked. Hope this helps. Just stay patient and wait in anticipation. |

Finally saw one PMM one on the road just now.
But honestly speaking, does not really look good on the road.I was a tad disappointed when i saw the car just now.It just looked cheap. It just dint look right, something was wrong with the car. Not to critisize the car or wat,but it is just my honest opinion. |
