I don think the new city door give u the hollow feeling anymore as it seem solid to me compare to the older 1.

its up to individual's preferences i suppose. dont get me wrong, honda city is still the number 1 ichiban car in my purchase list haha.

They use very little foam if any, if you've seen how they take apart car panels at autofoam - Both Vios and City (old) have hollow car chassis with very little sound insulation padding, in fact it's more like close to zero. They use those cheap soft sponge foam thing that people use for packing goods to stuff the side sills and B pillars and it's a miserable small piece as well. The CRV, being more expensive probably has more padding but I'm fairly sure they use those sponge things as well to stuff up the pillars and sills, it's probably a little denser and of bigger size though.

thanks bro for the info. yes, i saw it too by the fender of the crv, its like those sponge material used in washing dishes. i can imagine it will be very thin even if they have it in city. anyway, auto foaming is one of the list i would like to have in my city. heard that PJ KKLau (audio specialist) doing it too, anyone tried b4?

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 (Bernama) -- Bank Negara Malaysia's(BNM) decision to slash the overnight policy rate (OPR) by an unprecendented 75 basis points to 2.50 percent is justifiable.

I'm a user, but I did it at KL autofoam. Btw, if you do go there, beware of Desmond's poison tongue. He will surely try to psycho you so make sure your willpower is strong or you'll end up doing everything rclxub.gif The results speak for themselves though thumbup.gif

PMM color is quite dull, even in sunlight. It's a black alternative I suppose

hi CT owners/Gen 5 future owners/spammers biggrin.gif

Test drive the new CT at Peringgit when I got my roadtax at Peringgit 2weeks ago.....

my comment
1) the recycable door panel looks not so nice compared to my current 4G dry.gif
2) the seats are more lower than my current CT
3) the windscreen view is bigger then 4G
4) the side mirror a bit big like MyV
5) the fuel estimate(like the gen2) is good new feature....now we know how many KM till out of fuel
6) the rear seats are a bit small
7) exterior very nice compared to the dugong laugh.gif

rest than that, its a new car....and its a honda.....i'm still satisfied with my 4G......but I would recommend for those who are has the budget 80-90k.....

p/s up till now, i still wonder where the CT owner thread v4 is..... unsure.gif

regards,
pilotHans

drove my new city in the rain today. gosh i felt like the car being hit by stones. tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok all the way until i reach home. how come the sound insulation so bad 1. the engine is loud (some people actually likes it). in terms of thermal/light penetration, the design of the windscreen is in a way direct sunlight enters the car a lot and cook both the driver and passenger. tinting is a must. ah~~~ need to spend.

I think both color will be about the same... more visible IMO is PMM. If you want to hide dust, get ASM. tongue.gif
