Are we the 5G? or the 3G? (<---cos the latter is more applicable since we started out with the Ztec model and the previous one ..then only this arrow-shot type.

I was thinking like Honda City Connection Club (HC3) .. the 3* symbolizes the 3rd Gen..

My personal opinion is the illuminated side step looks very nice when someone steps in, it'll probably wow your friends and family for that first few times but that's about it. No doubt it's cool but in general, most people won't be able to see it. Any passerbys are not going to be able to notice it as well, unlike a bodykit.

I'd definitely want it if it was free but for Rm600 bucks, the money could be better spent one of the following:

1) PPS system
2) Soundproofing
3) Auto-Foaming
4) Additional money for better solar and security tint
5) Mugen performance parts

etc.

Soundproofing varies from car to car and there are many brands to choose from: The most famous being Dynamat extreme, alternatively there's Wurth soundproofing.

There's many options that you can do - like just 4 door panels, ceiling, rear seats, engine firewalling, engine hood, boot, undercarriage.
4 door panels and roof will probably set you back around RM680 or so while the full treatment will probably set you back by about RM1600 thereabouts if not more. Most obvious changes include having a quieter cabin interior while driving and drastically less wind and tyre noise when you travel at high speeds, there's more oomph when you close the door, and when it rains - you won't feel like you're in a zinc hut. Conservatively, you'll shave off 3 to 6dB(A) of exterior noise intrusion or more. Having a quieter cabin also means you get to enjoy your ICE audio more.

Autofoaming is injecting your car's chasis frame with special foam to strengthen the structure and seal up the hollow portions. The benefit is you get a tighter ride (similar to anti-roll bar / struct bar) while cornering and the bonus is that it offers more soundproofing because the hollow points of the chassis are all foamed up (a lot of exterior noise are transmitted through the hollow points of your chassis such as the side sills). This also results in less car vibration. In effect, a major improvement to your car's NVH.

AFAIK, these mats are glued onto the panels so there's very little chance for it to loosen. I don't have much more info on this so it's best you consult ICE forums about soundproofing from this point on.

Autofoaming starts from RM680 but can run up to RM3k for the entire car treatment. The results do speak for themselves though, you get a much stiffer ride (conti-feel) but don't expect soundproof qualities to rival soundproofing mat solutions. Minor vibrations are largely eliminated though so it's one of the other bonuses.

Got, but at the end of the day - the tint must have 70% VLT in order to pass JPJ. In other words, your car interior will still be very visible.

Alternatively, you can go look for car plates with those special insignia plate things hanging next to the license plate and sapu it - I always see those cars have dark tint but got no problem passing JPJ

They issue you a summon (I think) and tell you to get your tint removed - then you must bring your car back to them for them to inspect and pay them the inspection fee as well.

It is voltage stabilizer thingy, just connect to the battery terminals will do.

Mega Raizin is fixed onto your car battery - think of it as a power storage device that also helps regulate power in your car.
The biggest benefit it brings is extending the life of your car battery, the bonus is that it makes your audio sound a little better but the effect is very minimal.
Raizin black is for sound, this coupled with Mega Raizin will boost audio quality and oompf to a higher level but imo, if you're using stock audio speakers and HU - the result won't reflect the full potential of the product.

No, not throttle controller, the item below that - I'm seriously contemplating installing it, hehe.

I'm a user of Mega Raizin, Pivot Spark Earth and formerly Pivot Blue + grounding wires. So I'm rather familiar with these products hehe.

Pivot Spark Earth really does increase your car torque a little and you can feel the improved throttle response.

As for Mega Raizin and Pivot Blue, these are the changes that I've noticed.

- Major increae in car battery life expectancy. In my previous ride, my car battery lasted 3 years before I had to change
- The car interior lights are slightly brighter, this wasn't immediately noticible
- Slightly improved audio quality and loudness, this was immediately noticible but the effect is very minimal.

Contrary to sales talk - both Mega Raizin and Pivot Blue does not improve throttle response, it does not improve braking response, it does not increase a car's HP and it does not improve fuel efficiency of your car. If there was an improvement, it's quite negligble and I've not experienced it.

Never used Pivot Black, so no idea how well it works 

My advise is - unless you have very deep pockets or is an enthusiast. Avoid modding your car! It's a deep sinkhole that's takes a lot of willpower to get out of 

I don think the new city door give u the hollow feeling anymore as it seem solid to me compare to the older 1.

Guys, i found the seat easy to get dust on it... do u guys have any idea how to maintain it easy? cause if have flur dust.. easy stick on the seat d.

Think after we pool all the niggles and minor problems that we have experienced with the City, we should write / type in to Honda Malaysia so that they can rectify this problem for the next batches..and in the mean time, repair the 1st batch. Anyhow these things are quite normal. The price you pay for being in the exclusive '1st batch'
