Would like to check with you guys... the tyres used by foldable bike is easy to get punctured compare to MTB...

Thus, if want to get a tyres able to sustain non flat road like MTB, is it Schwalbe Big Apple tyre is the tyre we can change for folding bike like Dahon Eco C7? smile.gif

Big Apple is a good tyre. The bigger size also acts as a suspension but they cost a bomb here in Malaysia. If I am not mistaken, they sell for RM120 a piece! ohmy.gif I think cheaper tyres of the same size like Kenda should be OK. As for punctures, I think all tyres should be the same. Carry spare inner tubes for rides.

being using this for a while, easy to carry but sometime is little bit hard to put the bike in.
also remember to put a thick paper under the seatpost if not your bag will have hole in it.

Easier to take the whole seatpost out! That's what I do when I have to fit in 3 bikes into a car with 3 passengers. Unlike the Dahon Speed P8 which already has a fast release for the wheel sets, the Eco 7s don't have. I modified the hub shaft into those that can fit fast release skewers. It cost only RM60 for both wheels with the skewers included. Now it is even easier to fit in more bikes with the wheelsets taken out. rclxms.gif

a better alternative, instead of a bag, this is a cover, and the weight of the bike
would not rest on the bag.... biggrin.gif

that bag is selling for RMB 30 oni in taobao, if u buy n ship here, won't cost u over RM 25, plus u can mod it to be like a
dahon carry on, just cut n jahit two holes under the bag, get a long strap, jahit some velcro .... biggrin.gif
