guys, been reading thru this forum for while and decided to get a foldies for the wifey but still unable to decide, went to shop around pg island and got recommendation on several brand, i.e. dahon, oyama and most affordable raleigh uno.. currently leaning towards oyama a taiwan brand (but shop claim it was from japan) the fitting lok goods but not really sure abt the body quality and raleigh for the price and upgrade that i can do for the budget balance.. dahon came in last due to the price... the question is anybody got experience with oyama before?

went to the shop, compared few bike, eco c7, boardwalk d7, oscar, polygon owh and mup8.. almost end up with boardwalk but it did not come with the back rack so in the end really go for eco7 for the look.. and almost get killed by the home miister due to wanting to get the mu p8... also she cant understand why got to spend so much for a foldie, even my mtb also cost less... but after have a round with it then she understand and forget abt the oscar & polygon which is not even half the price...

seen some foldie add hub gear to add more combination to their bike, thinking of doing that also but was advice by the shop owner that it will be a mess when we want to change the tyre and some shop is not willing to do it for you due to the additional step they need to dissaemble and reassemble the thing.. is it true?
