Is it worth going for a waja with a mivec engine transplanted with lancer dash which might be frm mitrubishi lancers. Whats the difference in fuel consumption from the standard 4G18? I am talking bout a manual here so what mivec 1.6 engines can be used in a waja? sorry noob bout waja here

hi alif, where did u smoke ur headlamp? how much for that?
*
Did it in my garage tongue.gif
DIY la bro as mentioned..

Some guides to those who interested:
Things u needed
-1 tin flat black spray-RM 5.50
-1 tin clear coat-RM 5.50
-Hairdryer
-Flathead screwdriver
-Philips screwdriver
-Some tools
-100 plus laugh.gif
-Good sunny day
-Around 4 hours free time
-Guts tongue.gif

1)Use philips screwdriver, open all the screws on top of the grille..Then remove the grill by pulling it out
2)Need to remove the headlamp from the body..There's 2 bolts on top 1 on the side attaching to the side of the car
3)Remove the headlamp..Before that remove the wire attach to the headlamp..There's a pin under the wire, just press it n remove the wire cabel
4)Open all the clips attached to the headlamps..Total no of 4 clips
5)There's few methods to remove the glass from the headlamp..Dry it on when it's really hot or use hairdryer..Just reheat around the headlamp till the silicone gum soften n pry open...(Really hard when doing 1st time)
6)Remove the chrome part n spray it...I sprayed 2 layer of flat black+1 layer of clear coat..Dry it..1 layer dry it for arnd 5 minutes then apply 2nd layer
7)Reheat the silicone gum on the headlamp n the glass panel n attach it back..Make sure it really tight or else water come tongue.gif
8)Attach all the clips, reinstall the headlamp+grill..Test lights working
9)Done

never have a measurement done of the bumper stiffness, it's very much depends on angle and position hit.

Some waja forumer here even being hit by the bus on the front bumper but no damage and some even hit City rear and causes City rear light broken and bumper deform but he only face number plate broken.

in my case the 2 lights are ok...
the bumper loosen a bit only and there's hole...
so it seems pretty thin and hollow...
not the mention the accident was a small one...

I even hit a iswara during traffic jam (just imagine how slow it is) and end up with broken head light, squared bumper and deformed bumper metal holder. Last year I hit another iswara again during traffic jam and nothing damage....
