Hi,

Been reading on these threads on tailoring.
Do you guys actually send your designer shirts to be tailored to fit your body??..
I've a few shirts bought from the US but as you know, most of these are either slighter larger than my build.. or.. is extremely long (the only way to wear it is to tug into the trousers)..

Any good tailors to recommend??..
I know there are loads of tailors in KL but since this is the first time getting shirts done by tailors.. will appreciate some constructive comments/feedbacks on which tailors should i try.. smile.gif
I'm also looking at getting some shirts done by tailors so it'll fit perfectly on my body..

Thanks.

I did not have anything altered. They were relatively minor problems.

just wanted to echo a good word about Ron at the Curve here.

a mutual friend of Ron and I recommended Ron sometime back and i got around to making a shirt and a pair of chinos about 2 mths back. in short, i like his work and the prices are reasonable. would not mind using Ron again in future.

I would probably say Bespoked is better, as currently they are on top of my list and they yet to disapoint me and jerrick has been pretty patient and always fullfilling my requests.
For Binwani's you may call the tailor directly as he himself has his own set of highly skilled tailors, if you need his contact PM me.

The only way to know more about a tailor is to try him out and take the risk I can go on blabbering about how good a tailor is, yet it might not fit your taste. Its a trial and error thing, most importantly equipped yourself with enough knowledge.

His standard workmanship is below Ah Loke's. You need to specify the exact quality you want. I did, and I got everything I asked for and more.

also echo that on Bespoked. while they do a slightly better job on my shirts than Ron (and costs slightly more of cost). on another note, just sent in my granoff suit to pull it in. for some inapparent reason, i slimmed down ard the waist unsure.gif

One shortcut is to look at the suits awaiting collection. They tell you everything about his standard cut and workmanship.

Another shortcut is to bring an unsuspecting colleague there, then check out the end product on him. Tells you everything about the fit.

I am ashamed to admit that I had another shirt commissioned today. Neither the collar nor the cuffs are fused.
