Tried PAGE Sri Petaling for their 100% 2 ply cotton working shirt.
So far no complain.
Will go back and try a 3 quarter sleeve shirt. Any recommendation for the material? For working and casual wear.

Hi there

My fiance is thinking about custom making a suit for our wedding. He would like the suit to be wearable for future events, so perhaps a three-piece suit instead of a tuxedo. I have gone through so many posts and have a few questions:
1. Is it really more worth it to travel to Bangkok to have a suit made? I'm thinking 24 hours or even 3 days to make a suit seems rather rushed? Are they really so good at it and would the cost of travel and lodging be worth it?
2. Are there any good guides out there about the anatomy of a suit that we should know? We both know almost nothing about suits (in the past, he's only made do with an off-the-rack jacket) but there are so many terms that I've had to google whilst reading the posts.
3. Is about 1.5k still a good figure to have a suit+shirt made?

Thanks in advance!

Been following this thread closely.

Did my 1st bespoke in Bangkok in 2018 at Jessie and Sons (din really like it).

Was thinking of going back to Bangkok this year to do some work attire (but drag as lazy to fly just to do it - unless plan with holiday). So ngam, saw on facebook, Paul Bespoke Bangkok does monthly trunk show in KL.

Made an appointment and attended the fitting session last Saturday.

Was attended by Dev (the son of the founder), experience was good, he took his time measuring me up and answered all my questions.

Made 4 CEO shirt (their range start from rookie, manager, ceo and premium) 1 premium tux shirt and 3 ceo pants (all in damage was RM3200).

Eagerly waiting for the products.

I gave Page tailor a try as their price is really value for money...i spend RM1400 for a 3 piece suit and their workmanship is actually not bad. Cayman was way over price for me..... i think about RM2K plus for a 3 piece suit....

To me service is important and to get a tailor that actually listens to wat u need..... thats super important!

Page also gave me some freebies like a bow tie and did some free alteration for my work pants.....

So, give Page (Sri Petaling branch) a try lar..... look for Mr Raymond.

P/s: I'm not recommending Page Tailor becoz of the freebies but i really do liked their service and workmanship yah! They can give me double the freebies but if their service sucks i will also mentioned that....

Currently living in Sarawak instead of Selangor. Thinking of flying there just to make a bespoke suit next year. How long does it take to make a 3 piece suit? How many fitting sessions do I have to attend? Tq

Hello peeps, apology if this has been addressed. Saw a gentleman asked about it here but hasnt gotten any reply so far.

I am eager to know if there's anywhere in Klang Valley where I can source for premium fabric for suit making. I am looking to get VBC Perrenial (other suggestions are welcomed but this is the max I could go with my budget). Thanks.
