Proton Promotion.........? Never heard of it, are you sure this was promoted by Proton or depending for the SA? That is consider cheap if really 699, but again just like i said should ask the heat rejection % or asking them show you the machine reader result by testing their film.

Mind to share the promotion, how do you get it from? Maybe others Persona buyer would be interested as well!

I think depending on SA.. the salesman said.. if install this tint on the window become unbreakable..
when I make the payment the salesman told me.. got this kind of promotion..

If it become noisy, then is consider spoil or not spoil? Just become very noisy, but no other impact? Since all persona is IAFM, all will have the noise after a certain of time? Can prevent that?

i think the IAFM still working....this is what i heard from people......prevent it can...wait until proton design a better IAFM....lucky mine is plain campro...no problem..except for lack of pickup

Mine the same too. but u daring enough, once it low fuel lamp lights up, you can still drive and eventually your fuel gauge meter will go back up again a bit. but on average, each bar/quarter allows me to travel about 100km, so in total about 400km+- for a full tank.

there is a cap cover between the front wind screen and the bonnet.. near the wiper.. on both sides left and right which covers a screw.size of about bigger then a 50sens coin.. . just got my car like 2 days ago.. and its missing already.. some donkey stole one side of it.. !!!! sigh.. anyone know how much tat thing cost?

another thing.. for my 1st 1k service.. if i do it at glenmarie.. what time do thy open? and do i need to make an apppointment? thanks guys!

i just tried it yesterday. My fuel indicator already shown in the meter. My fuel calculation shown i still have around 50km worth of petrol. After i spent around 10km++, the calculation display went "---" and blinking >.< I panicked and started to look for petrol station. Lucky a petronas just really nearby.Damn that calculation display, tak boleh pakai

my persona will come out end of this week.
Silverstone or Dunlop which one is better? proton only can give this two tire.
aslo what other thing i can request from the Proton dealer?
i only can get RM500 discount + RM200 tint.

for the Tint Master promotion only available for M and H line..

How come HL is not included tinted?? and you have to do it after getting your car?

By all means avoid the GoodYear NCT5/Excellence. Its a crap tire you can read all sorts of critics in AW. Currently mine is NCT5 and you can hear all the tire noise ringing in your head after 4 hours of long journey. If its possible, try not to get Good Year NCT5/Excellence.

I've tried my friend's Personas, one with Silverstone Kruizer and another is with Continental CC1 - both are better than mine but these are entry level tires as well. I don't know about Dunlop tires though. I'm already planning to get rid of my GY NCT5, even there's about 60% thread left and get them replaced with either Falken ZE-912 or Michelin Primacy LC.

the tint normal price is RM999, if you take RM300 voucher that given by SA.
the price will become RM699.

the salesman told me.. if loan from the bank I will get rebate up to RM 1000..
my parent paying cash.. only can get rebate RM 500..

my car now got strange sound ler, after the left turn, then crusing on the straight for about 2 - 3 second, there will be a plastic knocking sound "kok" come from the right front area, just above the right foot, is it the absorber spoil? anyone experienced this?

According to some forumers, the noise is diesel engine-like. I'm not sure whether mine is malfunctioned but it's a bit noiser after about 2 months of owning but power wise remains the same.
Some people are complaining that their cars slow like a turtle when IAFM really 'kaput'.
Is your engine emitting 'tak tak tak ....' noise?

Added on August 18, 2009, 12:57 amMine got 'kok kok' sound (Not the famous metal knocking sound) at the front, driver side as well whenever I go through a bump. Then one day I floored the pedal when going through a bump, strange.. the sound gone.
How's your Persona so far? Mine is still fine except some minor rattling problems from the air cond vent and the engine sounds a bit rough..
