QUOTE(luriazidnaffa @ Jan 7 2009, 12:59 PM) i just got my new persona SE. could be ur brake fluid on low level....try to refill some brake fluid and see (DOT4)..for the airbag sign i think need to send for checkup..probably wiring problem....is the airbag light goes off after u start the car?the milage on my car just reach 12++km. yesterday i drive my car, at first everything is just normal. upon reaching my destination, i notice that the handbrake sign n the airbag sign at the meter cluster is illimunate even thou the handbrake is not engage. had anyone experience this kind of problem before? can anyone give me suggestion on what to do. thanks. |

QUOTE(luriazidnaffa @ Jan 7 2009, 07:37 PM) sowry...it's not airbag... it's abs sign... hmm.. before this happen, the abs sign will go off after engine start... frm my opinion...if abs light is on all the time, only normal brakes is working...abs not working..try to send to SC and get it fix..this time around, the sign still the even tho after engine start and drive the car... i'm really afraid there is something that is related to my car brake... |

hey..just want to ask what is the problem actually...erm...if i drive 80/90km smoothly/ revving.....after sometimes, when i accelerating there is a knocking sound under the bonnet, (around 1100rpm-1400rpm)..sometimes up to 2000rpm.....but weird thing is, when i open and slam the bonnet HARD, the sound gone, back to normal and smooth acceleration... not to mention, when i put in N gear, free revving also got the sound...but SLAM THE BONNET HARD, only the knocking sound gone... and when i off the engine for few hours, the sound seems to dissappear...
so what is the problem actually??? any owners experienced this??...check the bonnet holder, bumper, radiator, all still very tight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1QnvrP8pKo...re=channel_page This post has been edited by loong2020: Jan 7 2009, 08:13 PM |

haha..the main problem for noise is the plastic door panel....last time my right front and rear left door got noises when going bumpy roads...but after i
put the soundproofing material the noise gone...so if anyone got noises coming from door area...do sound proof ur door especially the top part (black area where is not covered anything)...if can add to the plastic pillar as well..... |

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Jan 11 2009, 12:19 PM) base on ur guys experience, 10-40w, 15-50w, 5-40w, which one will be more suitable for the campro engine? well..from my view...the first 3 service at PESC..i had used 20w50...well..after 3rd service, i started to use 10w40 and recently 5w40....i can say 10w/5w40 oil is allright...the car is lighter to move from traffic light and the revving is lighter....not to mention the engine sounded smoother...option is urs... i heard that either 5-40w or 10-40w is the best for campro, but 15-50w is heavy and the the FC is bad for campro engine. is that true? Added on January 11, 2009, 5:06 pm QUOTE(6@9 @ Jan 11 2009, 01:51 PM) guys, there was a noise at the back inside. like a wind noise. maybe the rubber at the door not so good? any solution?. and one more thing, my engine sounded a bit rough, why? normal eh? wind noise?..adjust the door rubber...u can diy if u want...check the door rubber whether is nicely fitted... and what u mean by engine sounded a bit rough??....izit smooth until certain rpm it will sound rough???This post has been edited by loong2020: Jan 11 2009, 05:06 PM |

QUOTE(onlyforthecars @ Jan 12 2009, 09:38 PM) hey guys i just did 10000 km service at the ss13 SC. yea..its normal....in fact using 10w40 engine oil is lighter than 20w50..so u can expect lighter pedal feel and slightly lower in fuel consumption....10w40 is ideal for the engine because the engine oil is lighter, thus resulting better pickup..they put in 10w-40 oil engine oil for me...previously i did my services at mutiara damansara SC and they used 20w/50. Is this normal? and also, they put in semi synthetic oil for me this time and they asked me to come back 5000 km later...abit rip off right? luckily i saw the service booklet and it says to come back 10000 km later.. what is your opinion on this? besides that, i asked them to check my reverse sensors which were going cuckoo but it doesnt seem like they did anything.... quite dissappointed...but they did give free car wash though...which was a plus point...and their service was faster compared to the Mutiara Damansara one. standard oil change is every 5000km....but u can extend it to 6000km if u 1......unless u use fully synthetic where u can stretch up to 10000km but u can change early if u stuck in jam or frequent revving... reverse sensors??..is it the beep sounded soft?...if it is...then is normal... |
