the only one thing i hope it could improve is, the steering angle. Do you guys realize that Proton car can not make U turn with small angle?
Everytime I am make U turn almost need to prepare more space to turn it, else will need to turn it 2 times

QUOTE(rave master @ Mar 8 2009, 07:22 PM) Hey guys, any of you here install 4-2-1 extractor? Whats the price range? Any improvement? I heard my friend told me that 4-2-1 extrator is better for low RPM pick up, so it mayb suitable for Persona, because since persona lower RPM is not very pick up and I have read some post here that he has change the extrator to 4-2-1 and the result is gain more power in pick up How about tracking device like Captor, heard some blm and gen-2 got stolen, not sure about persona though, so thinking to install one. Price range? I think the Captor is around 1 thousand plus... some persona owner have install the pedal lock, it useful and not so expensive like captor. |

QUOTE(rave master @ Mar 10 2009, 02:23 PM) Yeah, persona low rpm pick up very slow, and i dont drive so fast also I am wondering how they theif can breakoff the immobilizer, and since without the regonition code from the key, how to start the car?Hmm, i got a pedal lock also, but its portable one... cheaper. But i think captor is better but too expensive, wonder why they dont have installment plan, hmm |

QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Mar 11 2009, 02:36 PM) same here, but concerned on the FC Actually if compare with City on FC n mileage I think you can consider to choose City.hope to know how much is the full tank and what's the distance persona can go before refueling? my gf's City VTEC less than RM70 full tank can go at least 550km, city and highway drive, average speed is 100-110km/h But in terms of spec, is 2 different world. City 1.5cc Persona 1.6cc Weight : City 1140KG Persona 1240KG So many things that effected mileage and FC, is it not good to compare like this. QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Mar 11 2009, 04:22 PM) ok, bad comparison... but how is the Persona FC actually... i posted quite a lot but so far nobody answered... is it really that bad? or good? It is hard to say on it, Because some of the driver full tank get 250+ - only, but some others driver get 400 to 450. Is depends on your driving habbit, road condition and engine oil you use. If use normal mineral oil, sure FC not so good compare to Semi Synth or full synth. But one thing for sure is, after 2nd service the Persona FC have improvement so the average I guess is full tank can get 300 above, highway and city drive. My opinion is, this car is really a good car at this price range, once you have drive it, you will feel it, the handling is so smooth and steady, and when you speed up to 160 and above, the car still steady and smooth,no struggling or vibration. I am thinking of if can down weight 150kg, I can gurantee the pick up sure Vrooooooommmm This post has been edited by Hypro: Mar 11 2009, 05:24 PM |

My remote trunk can not work already I have report it to SC and they did request a new remote trunk for me, and after installation, still can not open The mechanical told me that the remote trunk is not powerfull enough to open the trunk and the remote is just for door open and lock only. QUOTE(apahal @ Mar 30 2009, 02:51 PM) I find it as funny that your SC told you the remote trunk is not powerful enough. If that's so, why not other HL owners made the same report? SC always give us lame excuses... have they adjusted the trunk lid lock positions? BTW, ask them to solve their problems lorr... good luck and sorry that I can't help. First time I've heard of probs with the trunk remote control.. when U open using keys and lever no problems ah? Yes, when i open with keys and lever its work well but when I press the button in the key remote, it doesnt work The machanical man tell me go to COE to make complain, I thinking of if they can't solve it, no matter how many complain i make they still using back the some thing get install over again n again. |

QUOTE(apahal @ Mar 30 2009, 03:05 PM) they tested the trunk remote wiring already ah? wire putus kalu... maybe the reasoning not enough power is acceptable lorr... but need to spank that fellow ah... he3x... *kidding* wiring ok, because I saw it on the spot, the remote trunk is moving, is just not strong enough to pull the triggle to open the lock only. I am curious y at the begining its works well and at the end become like that Now I don't trust them anymore, and somemore most of them also don't know how to solve it, and they just make experiment on it. i don't want to wasted my time go around to try anymore. If anybody know which SC or method how to solve it. I would like to go. |

the actuator is weaked....u can ask them to claim a new 1 for you foc. but maybe wait a few week to 1 month. power no enough is a bullshit. it never happen if your car battery and charging system is healthy. If they said power not enough, ask them change the alternator and battery then. See what they will change for you later. Yes, they do claim for me new one, very fast, just 2 weeks got the things already. But after install still can not open and they blaim on the actuator is no powerfull enough to open the trunk boot If the actuator is weaked, nomatter where I send, they still using back the same actuator, and what for I keep wasting my time to do the same process over and over again, so I hope that Persona HL who has this problem and get settle can share it so that I don't have to waste so many time to hear those bullshit anymore |

I discover something on my boot actuator why it cant open the boot with remote.
If you open the boot, you can see the lock there, there is a black wire connecter there, after I plug out the connecter, the actuator is moving, and if I plug in then no matter how many times I press the remote, it doesnt have any movement at all. Anybody know what is the connecter use for?? Thank you |
