i simply cannot understand would be medical students......
would not an 'easy to enter' med school be considered suspect in quality, and you may not get good training?.....
how does that then reflect on the student looking for these 'easy to enter' med schools?......

They may be thinking doctors only need to sign. All the work is done by the nurses n the hospital assistants. So the end justify the means; so when father has a clinic, just "take over".

Can I be optimistic and think that those asking such questions are not really representative of the mindset of the majority thinking of doing critical courses? It's abysmal, otherwise.

QUOTE(cckkpr @ Mar 12 2012, 08:23 PM) The truth really hurts. When they set higher gualifying standards, there leave a leeway for you to go round the requirement. Surely there will come a time when it really matters WHICH medical school one has graduated from. Due to potential oversupply of medical graduates in the country, we will potentially lose the grads from credible medical schools overseas, as they will have no incentive to come back to practice here. What happens then to the standard of medical practice in the country? Policy makers are seen to be selfish and short-sighted.

do the sums....and the reason for all these new med schools become obvious....
people who make these decisions will be able to choose and afford quality healthcare....so it doesn't affect them....

So the gap gets wider between private (hopefully that is read as "quality") and public healthcare. I suppose if overseas medical grads still choose to come back and practice in Malaysia then, it will be after they have specialised, and enter private practice, assuming there are no more compulsory civil service then.

Well, being doctors and like most other professionals, when the gomen can no longer take them in they would hv to fend for themselves in the private sector. The fittest will survive n those with strong cables will also thrive. Dont you agree that the 1 care health plan is a gold mine for cronyism and nepotism n who will be the biggest beneficiary.

QUOTE 146 universiti China kini diiktiraf Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi

- BERNAMA http://www.hmetro.com.my/articles/146unive...nTinggi/Article

Public service department (SPA) will bypass MMC and recognize the degrees behind MMC's back...~ MMC will 'have to' follow suit later... as they did many2 times before~ heh~ This post has been edited by CyberSetan: Mar 22 2012, 02:25 AM
