I am restoring de phone again
(for de 3rd time since yesterday)
I checked the forum, some said the "No SIM Card Installed" is a side effect after jailbreaking. Sigh.

Added on January 4, 2009, 9:02 amRestored n jailbreaked.

Still with the signal "NO SIM"
Tried with another SIM card, same result.

Habis lah.

I'm late for a shooting, no time to try it. Anyone wish to buy this iPod Touch please contact me. LOL

The only difference is that I have disable the PIN LOCK. This is what others in Hackint0sh have also recommended. Please disable your simcard PIN and try again.

Yes, I suspect that also. So please.....tell me how to disable the PIN LOCK. cry.gif

I tried but the iphone wouldnt allow me to do that! Somehow the function is disabled. The 'ON/OFF' button appears 'faded'. Why? rclxub.gif

And that means also I cannot change PIN. Haigh!

Can you show me your steps?
Did you use any of the "yellowsn0w -" command?

Actually, you don't need to Jailbreak the iPhone again. All you need is to reboot. Switch ON the Airplane Mode for 5-10 seconds and then switch OFF again. If you see the "Searching" indicator, it means you will get your Carrier signal.
Good Luck! biggrin.gif

what program are you using for jailbreaking? does it say no sim only after installing yellowsn0w? or is it imediately after jailbreaking? if it says no sim before jailbreaking then its probably your phone that is sick

QuickPwn22-1.exe
"No SIM" right after jailbreaking. That's why I am saying maybe it's hardware issue?

Emm, which step I failed? Like I mentioned, everything was fine when I went to bed last night. But when I woke up this morning, I noticed the "No SIM" logo already. Then I restored and jailbreaked bla bla bla, still the same... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Hi everyone,

Have pwned mine yesterday. Used it with DiGi and umobile, it's like clockwork. For other user that have problems try "saljikuning" 0.9.5, it's available through Cydia or Installer. Cheers

Pardon the clarity of the picture, it was taken on my iPhone 2G.

I don't think resoring and jailbreaking again will do any good.
Have you tried switching "ON" and "OFF" the Airplane Mode?
