Same result... Haiz
Finally, I have an iPod Touch now. LOL

Added on January 3, 2009, 10:42 pmMy Maxis full bar > My Maxis zero bar > No Service.

Then I tried with Celcom, and the result is:

My Celcom full bar > My Celcom zero bar > No Service

I bought the Celcom this late afternoon just to try out. Tomorrow I will buy DIGI n try again.

Added on January 3, 2009, 10:45 pmHuh... Latest update.

I took out the Celcom SIM card, and put in back the Hotlink

MY MAXIS full bar until now! 5 minutes already...

2 be frank, I'm not sure wat happened back there.

I remove the yellowsn0w 0.9.4
Reboot
Install yellowsn0w 0.9.5
Reset network
MobileTerminal
Airplane mode on off
Initially no signal (Hotlink), so I change to Celcom, but no signal also, then I change back to Hotlink - HUALA!!
Full bar until now.
I am like checking the signal every minute
Miss call a bxstxrd house number every 5 minutes
It works fine now!

I am not going to change the SIM card or turn off de phone now.
Take no risk. I spent the whole day trying. Wanna vomit already

I am restoring de phone again
(for de 3rd time since yesterday)
I checked the forum, some said the "No SIM Card Installed" is a side effect after jailbreaking. Sigh.

Added on January 4, 2009, 9:02 amRestored n jailbreaked.

Still with the signal "NO SIM"
Tried with another SIM card, same result.

Habis lah.

I'm late for a shooting, no time to try it. Anyone wish to buy this iPod Touch please contact me. LOL

what program are you using for jailbreaking? does it say no sim only after installing yellowsn0w? or is it imediately after jailbreaking? if it says no sim before jailbreaking then its probably your phone that is sick
*
QuickPwn22-1.exe
"No SIM" right after jailbreaking. That's why I am saying maybe it's hardware issue?

Even tho' its for Mac, but may I know at which step that you failed?

Unless if you give us the steps, there is no way we can help you.
If you are happy with iPhone-turn-to-iPod device, we can't help you much.... whistling.gif

Emm, which step I failed? Like I mentioned, everything was fine when I went to bed last night. But when I woke up this morning, I noticed the "No SIM" logo already. Then I restored and jailbreaked bla bla bla, still the same... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

I don't think resoring and jailbreaking again will do any good.
Have you tried switching "ON" and "OFF" the Airplane Mode?
