so confirmed it works? no problems with Digi?

Iv tried all the waiting, reinserting sims, reinstalling yellowsn0w and toggling the plane mode but it doesnt seem to work for me....

dont use itunes to restore to 2.2, on the yellowsn0w site they give use a 2.2 ipsw that we shoould restore with. follow instructions on their site

yea, im refering to http://www.yellowsn0w.net/ they give you a download link for the 2.2 firmware to download.
Once you have downloaded it, plug your phone to Itunes and restore (click restore while holding shift). this will open up a window that lets you select the firmware you want to install from a folder (the on you downloaded from yellowsn0w)

It sort of works for me (it goes on and off every hour or so) but i think its working great for some people. I hope the next version will be more stable

guys... something weird just happend... I uninstalled yellowsn0w then clicked respring on the BossPrefrences and for some reason Digi is working and seems to be stable

hahaha i went through the same sort of thing.
But now with 0.9.5, all I do is go to BossPref after installing/rebooting/changing sim and do a fast respring and it works perfectly (no need to reboot or toggle the airplane mode)

what program are you using for jailbreaking? does it say no sim only after installing yellowsn0w? or is it imediately after jailbreaking? if it says no sim before jailbreaking then its probably your phone that is sick

i found doing a respring with boss prefs as being more successfull for me. If i reboot my phone, it will not pick up signal, I just resping and its back and seems stable. Im using Digi, i dont know hw it is for other networks

have the people who are having issues tried the respring method that dizz_my is suggesting? its the same thing that has been working for me (for all the versions released so far, not only 0.9.1)

yes, ive tried both, and they both work for me but some people on this forum have had issues.

If you used installer, uninstall with installer, if you used cydia, uninstall with cydia. after rebooting, it will be gone

guys... I was at lowyat plaza the other day and a guy was buying a 3G, the shop guy told him rm150 to install yellowsn0w!!! hehe

i doubt they went as far as changing any coding... i gues theres nothing we can do if people dont read up or learn a little about a phone they are about to buy (especially if its an expensive one)

tell us all the steps you took, maybe someone can point something out

the new version of yellowsn0w is still beta but it seems to work very well. yes it is easy. you might want to google the process

Just look through a step by step guide, its all very easy

there is nothing realy to worry about. if anything goes wrong, you can easily restore it and try again.

actualy there are three steps, first you upgrade to firmware2.2, if your not already on it, jailbreak your new firmware then you add the yellowsn0w repo to either cydia or installer

the link i posted is a little old, the current version of yellowsn0w is 0.9.6 I think but the steps should be the same, you wont have to do things like removing your sim if they say that you should in the tutorial, I think you might just need to reboot or toggle the airplane mode

I agree... there were some issues before but with the new version I have never experienced any difficulty
