gross income 10k .. how much loan u want to apply?

Ur salary slip is salary slip, be it notice period or not, that is ur salary. most probably u might need EA form/ J form watever to get the loan also.

may i know ur position or industry?

PM me if u dun wan disclose here. There must be a way out... unless ur company is the only 1 in malaysia

If i submit letter to my reporting manager, and he holds my letter, does the clock stop ticking? Some says only effective if letter reached HR?

Just for confirmation. I need to give 2 weeks notice for resignation (still under probation). If I hand out my letter tomorrow, 27 May - this means my last day will be 9th June. Is it correct?

So, in the letter, the effective date is the last working day is it?

Please accepts this letter as my formal notice of resignation from XXX, effective from 9th June 2011 with two weeks prior notice.

Address to manager, cc to HR. Prepare an acknowledgment copy for HR to stamp acknowledged received date.

Clock start ticking. Whether ur manager want to hold or delay ur exit interview, up to them. U will leave on time.

i wanted to quit, but then i still has an outstanding house mortgage with the company.
under the hr policy, i need to settle the outstanding loan within 14 days upon my resignation.

i wonder how can i get a bank loan to continue with my house mortgage? since i'll be out-of-job till i find a new one...so pathetic..
who will approve or even consider my loan...hmmm...there's no payslip or etc.  cry.gif

seriously cannot tahan this company liow... icon_question.gif

I think not that serious about settling morgate loan within 14 days unless you are not working for financial institution. Normally it is refering to reverting to commercial rate.

Simple. Whatever that is not yours, don't take it back home.

Hi guys, I plan to tender a resignation letter on 1st June.

My Q is, I sign a bond letter last year, which the letter stated I need to serve the company for 2 years, however no penalty stated if I were to leave in advance, so I am not going to give a damn on the particular statement.

The letter stated there I need to inform management 3 months in advance, if I were to tender the letter on 1/6, I shall eligible to leave on 31/8 right?

Please advise

Yes, that is 3 calendar months. U shld ask HR if u can deduct any balance annual leave to be released earlier.

Hi guys, just to clarify something. I was previously bought out from my previous job by my current company. However I was not bonded and there is no written or verbal agreement which states that I need to repay the amount which was paid by them to my previous company. IF I were to leave the company in less than 1 year (or half year) and of course serve the notice period required, can the company demand that I pay back the buyout amount?

I double check all my emails as well as all the documents which I signed before I join the company and it didn't mention anything bout that. I am just afraid suddenly they took out a document which I am not aware off which say something like "It is industry practice (or labour law) that if you are bought out and if leave during probation period, you need to pay the buyout amount back".

Employment Act only applies to those earning rm1500 & below.

There is no such thing as industry practice. If they want to safeguard their investment in u they should hv made u sign some docs.

Another thing, if they paid for ur notice period in previous company, that is small issue.

I have about 15-18 days of AL, anyway, that part doesn't bother me.

My concern is the 2 years bond document, since there is no penalty stated if I leave in advance,
I wonder what can my company do on me ... hmm.gif

Not difficult. No need template.

Just state ur intention to resign, duration of notice served an how many months u intend to compensate in lieu of notice.

Say some good parting words n sign off. Cc to HR.

Can?

i guess u sign a bond for benefit u already taken, if not why need a bond, rite?

You worried for something u know it may happen.

Offer to give/pay it back upon request, then the ball is now under ur company.

Ur company may release you willingly.

Clean & clear, no worries haunting u.
