Not a life and death issue ler...

QUOTE
Display options missing Apple appears to have left some components out of the Mac OS X 10.5.6 release. So far, users have noticed the battery menu does not have any options to switch power modes, and users who connect to their TVs do not have any options for enabling "Overscan".

Some users have tried removing various preference files, creating new user accounts, and changing system settings, but those attempts have not worked. As with the battery menu, the lack of this option seems to be an oversight on Apple's part, and hopefully it will be added back with a future update.

when you use ur mac, try to plug in the power source ALWAYS.....

how to check just goto system profiler from application then choose utilities and find system profiler, look under power source.

http://www.freemacsoft.net/AppCleaner/

you can use appcleaner for uninstall, which is a freeware..

you can still use drag and drop method, but i think by using appcleaner, it is better as it uninstall the program thoroughly..

about the update...it actually fixes some bugs, security and stability issue...i think it's ok to update it, the performance selection problem at the top right of desktop can be done manually through system preference and accoridng to civic 98, they will put it back for the next update. so just update it..

Mine 7 cycles after more than a month and have 4676/4600 mAh.

Its normal to get 99% when fully charged.
However its better to calibrate each month.
