wow, bespokedened is awesome. i knew they were good, and they are.
since this is a premium shop at a premium price, go ask them rotate the sleeves and add a nip to the waist. the waist is simple the sleeves harder. show them pics of the henry poole stuff.

QUOTE(tr|n|ty @ Apr 8 2010, 04:41 PM) kotmj, did it at bespoked. paid 1.8k for full wool. >.< haihz, forgot to take the back pic at the 1st place. @@ maybe later after i got back home, find a time and take pics again with complete wear. kotmj, do you think i should amend the waist line or any other parts? or just stick to it as it's fine just not perfect. Trinity: MYR1.8K all inclusive? I thought Bespoke's game starts from MYR2k and above? It does look good from what you have posted. As for Silencer's pictures - great looking suit there, mate, except that it doesn't look as shapely compared to Kotmj's which would be what I'd be opting for. And yup, a more opened quarters would make the suit look look a little more symmetrical which would be more visually pleasing. I do hope to see you there this weekend, and fingers crossed that no last minute plans ambush me again like the previous'.

Just took a second look and I'm not sure I'd even bother with the waist. It looks so good as it is. But here are some pics of a 6' guy with broader shoulders than you with deeply, incredibly waisted jakcets which were the inspiration for mine. bHis name is whoopee and is a memebr of sf.

The olive jacket, while it seems just as waisted as the rest, makes him look weird for some reason.

kotmj, thanks for the comments. most probably i won't bring back to alter anymore. i'll be going overseas in next week until june. guess i'd not have the time and just stick to it. should be alright as i am very satisfied with my suit plus it seems you're quite impressed by it too. and wow, whoopee body is definitely . walnek, yes inclusive. you can opt for better quality fabric at 2k+ . actually the cheapest start at little over a thousand if i remember correctly for mixed fabric.

I think you’ve done very well with that suit. It’s obvious to all that going with Bespokkt was the right choice. I know of no other Malaysian tailor who can by themselves, with no guidance, produce something with this aesthetic refinement, definitely not ALT and even less so Lord’s. Going with pure wool instead of some nasty non-durable polyblend is also the right choice. I think you’ll find that, when you attend any occasion where suits are worn, yours is by far the best, especially in western countries where everybody wears RTW (except the UK).
In other news, the silk twist color #97 (natural) has arrived. I look forward to the fitting of my linen jacket tomorrow with fully-canvassed tailor MBT3 in his house.

Relax man. 'Main concern' is quite a strong choice of words I hope you're not losing sleep over it haha. The choice (key word being 'choice') of silhouette should also be tampered with comfort especially once a suit has come to a point that is at the very least acceptable. Trinity has some time away so he can decide afterwards. Or he can go read the thread at SF regarding this in which kotmj/hymo has contributed as well.

QUOTE(lanatir @ Apr 9 2010, 05:18 PM) oh no! u found out! Strange. I don't remember seeing you at the last 3 board meetings. Well, anyway, you missed out on some interesting meetings there. The ALT concept store has been doing very well ever since I came on board as Marketing and Communications manager. Have you been to the shop? I'm in awe with Juliene Cheng's design. It really does look like an old shabby tailor shop. It's the perfect way to serve the lower end of the market without diluting the Bespoked brand. Oh yeah: The old tailor we hired out of retirement to run ALT? He now wants to have equity in the company. Last meeting, Ian said no. You should have seen his face. Our contract manufacturer in Thailand has been having trouble procuring used egg cartons. So for now at least, the chests will be less padded. They also want to increase prices by 8% beginning Q3 of 2010. This post has been edited by kotmj: Apr 9 2010, 07:43 PM

QUOTE(FusioneX @ Apr 8 2010, 02:15 PM) Take netmatrix's suggestion. He has the best knowledge around here on where to get budget garments. Although, I'd advise you to top up a little more to maybe around RM120+ and get one from our local brands such as Padini / SEED since they have a more modern cutting compared to SUAVE or those in Kamdars' (tried them on last time but the fit was not suitable as I'm quite slim). Note: waistcoat and vest is actually the same thing - with the former being a British term while the latter is an American term. The American term is more widely-used by fashion retailers nowadays but some Britons might still interpret vest as tank tops and whatnot. thnks..do they come in white colour..i'm kinda hving a homecoming at my school..so i wanna look good.. so..any idea for a look..
