» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sorry to say this but your robos could have gotten a stroke or an ear infection and that is why she is running in circles non-stop. And this nothing to enjoy watching. From http://www.hamster-club.com/health.asp QUOTE Hamster Strokes When a hamster has a stroke, there is some head tilt and sometimes the hamster may start running in circles. Strokes often happen during the night so the first sign is when the following morning the hamster is unbalanced and typically the head tilts to one side. Hamsters who have suffered a stroke may live quite a while longer and lead fairly normal lives, although some head tilt may remain. Head tilt may also take place when the hamster has an internal ear infection, sometimes secondary to a respiratory infection. The hamster often tilts his / her head to one side and loses his / her balance, calling or circling when it tries to walk. Bacteria are the usual cause and treatment is with antibiotics prescribed by a vet. A hamster may also run in circles when in some cases it may have a brain tumour. Another symptom of a stroke is when a hamster acts normally and then all of a sudden enters in a sort of a ‘trance’ where it stops staring almost as if it is hypnotised. The hamster may need help with feeding and drinking, but should recover sufficiently after a week or two. Also those green balls you're feeding them is not healthy for them. Better change to something else like Prestige Hamster or Harry Hamster. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Mar 4 2009, 09:33 AM |

I have trouble Taming little Tiny; she's so cautious she didn't touch the popcorn for days after it accidentally rolled into her.
I tried handfeeding, my dad QQ about me not feeding her enough. She won't stay with my hand, always running off after taking one little piece. And then won't eat. I tried removing the house since she hid there all the time, and my dad non stop complained about why I am so cruel. So i have a dad that is effectively against all of my attempts, and I've not made much progress either. I am pretty frustrated and angry, so I want to know if there's a method that is faster and less stressful for all of us. http://critterscoop.com/blog/blog5.php/200...in-7-easy-steps Would this work? She nipped me pretty hard today, and so I instinctively tossed my handout because it was so unexpected. |
