Try using pliers to grip on the pin and then pull to remove the pin. Use the same way but push to fix it back. My mom taught me that.
By the way, while Tiny was sleeping I measured her with a ruler. She's approximately 8 cms long
She probably grew about 2 cms in a month, because she was a ton shorter when we brought her in.
The size of a Grown syrian is 10 to 15 centimeters. So Tiny is really really tiny.

QUOTE(speedhunter @ Mar 7 2009, 03:38 PM) According to 1st page post, u are not advise to bath with water, just provide them with sand bath, they will love to roll themselves in that. My campbell love sand bath, but after that, it will be their toilet oh ok..thanks. I experienced that too, after a while they love to pee in there. Need to change it frequently.

No advisable to trim their hair as they will not stay put for you to cut. You might cut something else if you're not focus. Only cut when there something is stucked in their hair or tight knots and you can't remove it.

QUOTE(sangels @ Mar 8 2009, 12:51 AM) LOL I use them all the time. Very easy. By the way for long haired syrians try using an old toothbrush to comb the hair. And it's advisable to change the bedding to something that don't stick so much like corn cob bedding or recycled paper. You should stop using the wood shavings if you don't want to see the bedding all over Besides, Cedar=bad bad bad bad bad

if still want to use wood shavings<due to budget tight>..u can use chipsy classic bedding...
chipsy classic bedding- the wood shavings is more"halus" than other brand...
i'm using it now--add with some BC..the shaving not stuck to their long fur..plus---u should toilet train them...shaving tend to stuck/tangle at their fur bcoz they pee everywehre<not in their toilet>..when they pee everywhere, they tend to step on their pee which will kene the fur.wet, then shavings stuck on fur..when pee dry, make fur tangle..
hope this info will help u a lot.

You can have less bedding stick to their fur by giving them dust bath often, will help to reduce, but wont completely tak ada.

QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Mar 9 2009, 10:26 PM) Have u guys ever smuggle GPs/Hamsters/little turtles/other small animals from KLCC or any airport? I didn't know KLCC got petshop? I know got Aquaria only Some more you want to smuggle them out from there? Why? Cannot buy them ar? Anyway smuggling small animals is against the law and dangerous to you and the small animals. Please don't do so and end up behind bars. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Mar 10 2009, 12:46 AM

i'm only studying at jb, but my hometown is kl.. will a syrian fit 1 habitrail ovo pad combine with 1 habitrail ovo suite?? i saw a lot of youtube video, they house a syrian in a habitrail ovo suite, love to see how the syrian can climb the vertical tube, unlike dwarf i currently have, need to adjust the tube to diagonal position
