you can always place your hamsters in hamster ball(one in each) when you're cleaning their cage. or, perhaps you can create your own playpen and place your hamsters in the playpen, so, they can just move around and they will be stress-free.

The jar is too small. If I put you in a toilet cubicle for more than 15 minutes and you cannot get out. You also will get scared too.

You can get a smaller tank and put your hammy in there while cleaning the cage/tank. Plus you can use the small tank as a transport tank.

Hamster ball can work but don't put them in there for more than 15 minutes as the hamster can get stressed. Playpen is a good idea but make sure they can't climb out of it tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

Not much people using cause expensive and a hassle when cleaning. The Ovo Pad is ok for dwarf. How many dwarves you got in an Ovo Pad?
*
i got 2, but donno if its a pair or not, dont know how to know. i kinda regret buying the ovo pad, not because its hard to clean, but where the water bottle is located. the water drop in the tube, creating a lopak, and my hamster always shit there, poo+water=dirty.. hope u all get what i mean.

I saw my fren's baby, yup they have no or little fur, and their skin is red, but the fur will grow more later

i'm sorry. but i'm not trying to be offensive here. but, habitrail cages especially OVO aren't the best cages. i think you saw it for yourself. they kinda have to lean on their back to drink water. plus, i think having two dwarfs in one OVO is bad idea.
perhaps, you should change your cage. go for a bin/tank cage instead. they are spacious and affordable. the OVO is just small and i'm sure your hamsters don't have enough space to Run around.
hope this helped.
*
hmm..i already post my ovo on the garage sale, hope someone would buy it. yup, there is little space for my hamster to run, but they really love to play the wheel.

do u mean the tank on the 1st page? sure is large.

my hamster dont like to sleep in the house, why?? they sleep outside, but push the bedding aside, sleep on the base of the cage. do they feel hot??

Better don't use the box if you having syrian hamster. They can jump very high wan, mine manage to escape from his cage by jumping out of the case... Thn MIA liao...

i have 2 dwarf female, before i add the box, they spend most of their time sleeping, after i add the box, they love to walk here and there.

i would like to gather the ovo user, to share their experience about the ovo

for escape proof, i've solve it by put a paper around the wall, make it higher so the hamster cant grab the wall to climb.

my hamster also dont chew on anything, include the plastic, dont know y, but thats a good news rite.

but sooner or later, i'll need to dispose the box when its start smelling, or someone have better idea to get rid of the smell, like put it under the sun maybe??

yup, u need a container. if the container is inside the cage, the hamster will go inside theirself, no need to bring the hamster out. they love the sand, will play with the sand most of the time
