my suggestion will be separate them now.
They are solitairy animal in nature. Puting them together actually are against their nature and it's stressful. So, for u, u perceive as they staying happily. For them, mayb they are so afraid and feeling stress all day long. |

QUOTE(noobtank @ Jul 21 2009, 07:02 AM) That bar cage is too small for 1 syrian. More suitable for dwarf hamsters. The wheel is too small for syrian. Need at least an 7.5-8inch wheel for syrians. If not, they will injure/deform their back running in the small wheel. Also bar wheels are dangerous for hamsters as they might injure their legs if get caught in between the bars while running. Bar cages got a con is that hamster will chew on the bars which will rust and the hamster get rust poisoning in long term chewing. They will also injure their nose while chewing the bars also. Also cleaning the cage with the tubes will be troublesome. You will find out later when you wash the cage Should get a 2 feet plastic tank for each syrian you got. There are pictures of the tanks in the first page. Why you end your sentences with lol? This post has been edited by blurjoey: Jul 21 2009, 09:23 AM |

tjose are Fischer cages...and i i've seen them in many shops! i hate those cages...the ventilation is very poor too...as your syrians grow they'll get stuck in the tubes.

QUOTE(noobtank @ Jul 21 2009, 01:35 PM) Oh...sad face again I don't think you need to worry about the size of the syrian as they can hardly grow big cos there's no space for them to grow. They can hardly walk freely inside the cage also even with 1 of it inside, what to say with 2 of it? You no need to imagine that as they will fight and you'll see it. Maybe with that, one of them have no chance to grow big also. p/s: Maybe you are someone who are very positive ans love to smile or laugh, but I think you should be serious when you are dealing with something alive cos it is a LIFE, nothing there is so funny till you wanna LOL (Laugh Out Loud). |

If 38.50 is too expensive for u, get a 2feet glass tank..cheaper...25-28.50 u can get one already.
Even if you remove the 'wheel' and tubes, the cage is still way too small for syrian. Hardly put a proper 8'' wheel inside also. |
