As far as I read the manual book, I don't really know in what ways you can test whether your car had immobilizer system installed or not. Because the transmitter is located inside the key itself with remote. If you wanna test I think u screw out only the metal key and start using that key without remote. Quite noob about cars. Btw I heard many users having to replacing IAFM for many times. Is it the latest IAFM design with yellow sticker on it? Hope my one doesn't had any of these problems.

justnow got a white myvi tiong me suddenly and almost hit my back!! i can heard the tyre braking sounds, don knw what the hell myvi driver is thinking:x

anyway, when raining / wet condition.. rear break got 'shreak' sounds..is it normal?
at first i thought normal..but my fren owns a kancil he said his car doesnt have that sound

Dunno if it's normal or not but mine also got low shriek sound also after rain or during... sometimes morning got... dry afternoon definitely don't have... brake disc/brake pad problem? Haihz.

may i know how long the SA take u all for the loan processing?? cox i have waiting for 1 week more....but still no reply yet.... i have give the booking fee...if i want to cancel the booking.....i can refund with whole amount without deducting right??? cox that SA said i need to give him some processing fee if need to refund....thanks.....

IMO, if it's a brake disc/brake pad prob, the low shriek should be consistent, whether it's morning or dry or wet ~
But now seem that it only happens when it's wet ~

To be sure and for peace of mind, better go to SC and have them check check ~

I also not sure whether this sound is negligible too, but i know of my friend's Honda City have a very loud shriek during cornering hrmppp

Wanna test your immobilizer? easy just let your door unlock and see you can whether stolen after few hour? Just Kidding.

Anyway you can just duplicate you key without the remote, then try to ignition with the duplicate key then see whether engine can start or auto off after few minute.

Added on March 31, 2009, 8:54 amLoan processing is very fast normally Bank will call you within 2 day after all document submitted, and approved within 1 week time. Better go and ask again how the process.

Anyway I push the SA so much for the process, his really patient, responsible and help a lot. Collect my order car with in 2weeks time. Loan approved in 1 week, and car process & register 1 week. If got ready stock even faster.

but what about the price?

our rear brake not using disc brake / brake pad...it's using drum brake
probably is the bearing already finish......need to change...refer to blm club for more info
