Thanks for the reply.

He mention that the reference # is DMP113******, but then, Maybank2u only allows the numeric.
So a question arise, is it correct that we just need to enter the number 113****** ?
Or is the case that AKPK will provide another # for remittance purposes?

Is IC number. Your friend need to key in IC number while pay through Maybank.

I have a question here, I have cleared all my debts thru AKPK November 2013, am i able to apply personal loan again? I got rejected from CIMB recently, Need personal loan for my mom sickness. Need advise bro.
*
1) Once you clear your AKPK, please go to all the bank and request for released letter i.e. if your personal loan and CC is from 3 different banks, you need to walk into the bank and check your payment, and ask for released letter immediately (or email/post to you)
2) Go to Bank Negara print your statement, and bring all the released letter to meet any officer who are on duty;
3) Request them to removed your name.

If you willing to spend some time to do walk in and print statement and visit bank negara, your name can be removed within 2 weeks.

make sure your name is clear then only you apply for loan.

My housing loan rejected last July even I settled my AKPK in Oct 2012, as HSBC forgot to removed my name from their system! I called to AKPK made complaint, and they asked me to talk to bank by myself because from their system my case is CLOSED.

Good luck.

as soon as you get all the documents complete, you will receive the letter within 3 weeks (my case in year 2010). You can actually just tell to all the bankers who call you for payment that you already apply AKPK, they will stop calling you. Good luck smile.gif

Basically wat is the documents needed?

all your credit card statement, your current employers letter, payslip (documents that proof you are having stable job & income). They will work out a proposal to banks and they usually try to negotiate 9% p.a. (instead of 18% p.a.)

If big amount (up to RM50k in total) can be negotiate to less than that. I got 9% and 3 yrs plan in RM35k debts and my friend RM56k got 7.5%

as long as proposal approved, you need to pay the first installment and then take the bank in slip to them.

earlier settlement hv discount, but you hv to talk to the bank yourself. I able to settle all within 20months, direct liaise with bank.

I've one more question, will the application affect the spouse too? Will they check ur spouse income status? Such as the spouse saving acc, FD, salary received?

By the way guys,
Say, the date to remit payment is by the last date of every month.

However, the salary not in yet, so am having difficulty to pay the monthly sum.

What avenues can one take in this regards?

e.g
To discuss the matter with AKPK to adjust the payment date?
To pay a portion of the sum first?

No, they wont check your spouse status. is purely for the applicant.

I have encountered this problem before and what I did was to email my AKPK counselor to inform him immediately and told him the expected date that I will be able to bank-in the monthly payment.

And what was the outcome of that?
Did he agree to extend the time for you to remit the payment?

Yes, my delay was two to three days later after 30th & I submit my bank statements to verify that my salary was indeed credited into my account late by my employer.

However, my AKPK counselor also cautioned me that I should not make it a habit to delay payment as AKPK has the right to cancel our agreement. He advised that we should ensure that there is sufficient funds to payment AKPK on time every time.

Guys, if planned to do full settlement to the banks, which option would be better to get reduced full settlement rates? Walk-in to bank to negotiate or call their Cust Service? Pls advice as plan to settle off outstanding loans.

Oh okay. Meaning that would need to inform the counselor in cases whereby may delay on the payment.
Did your counselor mentioned on the procedures of AKPK cancelling the agreement?

Is it like, missed 1 payment also they straight away cancel it?
