I have some question. For partial settlement, settle with akpk or bank which is more worth it?

Example:

You have 2 loans - Bank A and Bank B, both under AKPK. You want to settle Bank A because its the smallest outstanding between the two. You go to Bank A, ask for full settlement, request for discount. Once paid, get the release letter and submit to AKPK to update your record.

You need to deal directly with the banks and ask for discounts. So you can save more

Hi, usually how much can get? I called HLB. They initially say no discount cuz akpk programmed ady give 9% instead 18% interest.... then next call, say discount is 6mths interest amount.... quite low, IMHO

Just tell HLB, this is all you have now for the full and final settlement, take it or leave it.

If they accept then good, if they refuses then forget it now, and try again in other time. Nothing lose

Depends, you need to get the right person to assist you, which must try few times

Coz sometimes that person might have issues on that day so not gonna give you anything

Why u want to make partial settlement?

Ya, no point doing the partial payment, the bank will not give you anything in return for partial payment.

You better use the partial payment and do some side investment to make more money for future one bullet full settlement in exchange for good discount from the banks.

Nowadays their system very fast update, i not yet upload release letter, AKPK ady updated on their side. Cant even find the record. Lolz

Only manage to get discount from UOB. Discount is very much depends. The bigger amount, larger discount they will try to get for you.
Best you call them up cuz it seems like they have own Tiered Discounts Model.

I means in term of % of discount over your original debts ( if pay bank in full installment).

This may help to shed us some light when we nego with our bank.

Hi, i received call from Agent. So those Agent is totally a scam? Cannot believe or use at all? They said able to offer 2-4% interest and AKPK guaranteed approval. Could you share if there is such thing as 2-4% interest rate?

AKPK is government body, they does not have any so called agents.

AKPK is free, free to walk-in, free to help you, you just need to go meet them for FREE.

AKPK will not call you to offer / market their service to you, they are there if you need them.

Your husband AKPK status will not affect wife credit rating / loan application, UNLESS that particular property is under joined name (husband + wife)
