Getting AKPK is actually a good choice.

Because after you have graduated from the program, you can apply for credit facilities like normal as long as the CCRIS history has been cleared.

Hi everyone has anyone faced this issue? I've been maintaining good payment record for akpk since 2019. However, since I'm facing the risk of vss I applied for a reduction in monthly instalment.

Unfortunately, while it will go lower for the first 2 years (1260 going down to 1480 after I also enrol my car loan which totalled over 2.2k Includinh the akpk payment before this. However total will go so much higher after 2 years (2800) and will be maintained for 6 years.

Now I'm asking the akpk officer to revert back to old payment schedule but she said I won't be able to get that plan already because of the Covid times moratorium reducing my repayment time by 1 year. Is there any way to appeal this? If I knew this would happen I would have just skipped the moratorium.

Many would be happy to hv more cash flow at our disposal by having to commit less for akpk repayment.
Use that "extra" cash wisely.
When that pool of money is large enough, ... Just settle fully the outstanding in akpk so as to hv early release from akpk

Yeah after thinking about it I decided to save that money from lower monthly and settle a few of the accounts before 2 years is up.

May i suggest you call them up directly to confirm.
Use the number from Yr google search will be safer.

For it is not safe to just listen to the words of that person who called you. He may be a third party entities or a scam artist or ah long too. Once you signed, kena liao

I receive email from them. now totally no more face 2 face meet. email sent on 28/8. in the email stated that to make first payment within 10 days. means before 28/8 i must make first payment?

Since you said that email is OK. Then I guess within 10 days from email sent date of 28/8. But now is only 18/8. Post dated email??

Hi, may I know if the interest charged by Akpk is reducing balance or fixed rate?

Anyone facing problem to get the release letter from Maybank after making the full settlement as well? I made the full settlement on November 2020 and up until now I still haven’t received the release letter.

Made countless calls to their Collection Center and a couple of times they did answer and asked me to email the payment receipt to them. Emailed a few times, still no response since 2020. Wonder what is it that’s so hard about providing a letter. Sigh

While waiting for responses, my bets would goto fixed rate and not reducing balance model. As I read that they do gives some discount for early settlement just like car loan.

Try check your CCRIS report? Previously a forummer mentioned, once he cleared the loan, his ccris reports has no remarks about akpk. Try read postings by samsungXP in page 169

If akpk were to charge 8% flat rate, that means it's equivalent to at least 13%-14% effective rate. Is it worth going to akpk since the rate it's charged is so high?

Unless you got better alternatives,....

The interest charged is lower than what you are paying now. plus, it varies depending on a case-to-case basis.. but i can assure you it is worth it should you need for debt restructuring

I think you can't coz when you are in DMP, you can't take any loan. If you can't take loan, how can you refinance your house? Sorry if I'm wrong...

Also when she first started paying it was RM2.1K then when settled one of the bank dy, then reduce to RM1. 9K but now increase back to RM2.5K 😅
