Q1 : yes i get discount from maybank/uob/citibank. HLB/OCBC/SCB/Bank Rakyat /HSBC no discount
Q2 : will use debit card enough

Maybank is rm1k plus / UOB rm600 plus / Citibank just RM100 plus

I have outstanding with AKPK around rm11k now. If I clear the outstanding one off, can I get a car loan ? My car break down last month and my job nature need me to have a car. Thinking of using year end bonus to clear AKPK.

Normally how soon we can get car loan after release from AKPK ? Tq to all sifus.

since your job nature need a car, i think it would be quicker to have your car repaired than the time taken to process the getting of the loan and the arrival of a new car....
not yet take into consideration of getting into more debt and the cost of car depreciation.

Better fix the car. It may take a while since release after AKPK, they take that into consideration 1st. Not to say you can't get a loan, I know my friend and someone from here did. just that may take a while. if you can wait, no prob. Since for work, it is wiser to repair.

If you live in KL and don't know where to go, you can go to the car section and seek advice on what and where to repair.

either you can go for renault subscrition?

It’s too expensive for me bro. I’m thinking of buying a 2nd hand myvi. My existing car is not worth of repairing anymore as per workshop recommendation. So I’m planning to loan a little like 20k from banks.

Is it possible all sifus ?

some shop will offer their own loan for 2ndhand car you can try...

What happens to the excess payment made to AKPK? Say I have settled all loans (direct clear from the banks). Do AKPK refund it back?

paid 16th at around 5pm++ for all banks and credit.
17th started to call them.

rhb - 18th removed from akpk. release letter within 7 days to home. haven't received them lah, ccris to be updated within 3 months. adoi.
hlb - 17th they said need refund for both account. straight went branch in the evening. 19th akpk gone and received my letters in my email
maybank - paid based on their discount amount( even after their discount letter expired). they said need approval. then 18th removed from akpk, 21st got no futher claims in my email.
sc-need redeemed and release within 14 days. 21st cannot see account in their web anymore. balance redeemed masuk saving. until now no updated in akpk.
citibank - called many times cannot go through. the cs said will email them and wait for their call. 18th and 22nd called again, same will email to their akpk dept to call back. then i sent email to their general feeback using web. twice. 24th they called said saw my email then sudah updated to akpk. letter needto wait their vendor to process.
aeon - 17h said in process, but until now no difference. akpk and the cc account still there.

haiz, i need those letters for my housing loan application. of course i know now is festive season. but then.. adoi. some bank will just email which is quick. some will send home. but then, adoi jugak again. coz even after updated my address with them long ago, some bank email letter still have my very old address.

need call them again to chase or expediate their process.

need to know before or after your due date, and if akpk has released payment to your banks.
if after, then the settlement amount you get form bank is the final one. usually if you have savings account with them, the will just refund there during settlement process. some like hlb, need to go branch and fill form ( and which bank to tf to) but since i have savings account with hlb, its just a matter of minutes of refund process.
if not, you have to contact akpk.
