In bold can provide a link to the post?

ETA move on supplying ebauche is a known fact. iirc ETA did officially release this new. no need IWC to confirm that.

interesting read on IWC for those interested. interesting, even if ETA don't sell ebauche, but complete movement. other watch company are still welcome to buy and mod them! its like Stowa buying complete movement and still take the time to tear them apart, go thru their internal inspection and then reassembling it back. U would think it would be easier to by ebauche, cut the time of having to take it apart,

COSC didn't mean much even in the past. LOL...

ya.. ML seem to have increased the retail price.. but end up giving steep discount.. maybe can find 30%+ off!

the ML Pontos Chronographe Sport Full Black. maybe retailing ~RM$12K
http://www.sibaritissimo.com/maurice-lacro...ort-full-black/

Jazzmaster Maestro? like this??? the back of a unmod, undecorated 7750 behind Hamilton.
I still find the unmod blue screws, gold plated 7750 on Guinand darn pretty. price wise pretty close. if u can get on a super discount like I did for my Hamilton Khaki chrono then thats different case.  btw I paid only ~RM$1.8K.

most important question, WHERE YOU BOUGHT THE HAMMY!?!
that Guinand decoration is beautiful. but I don't like the face.

what you mean in bold?
if you're talking about IWC-ETA thingy

thanks for the links to the info!!! good read!
on that WUS thread, someone look down on Seiko.. I would have to get my hands on 1 of those spring drive. mechanical watch with quartz kinda accuracy. whats wrong with a good seiko anyway, even Tag is using Seiko's movement design on all their future chrono watches.

my hammy... gray market!!!! haha... that time quite a few WUS member jump on this deal too.
not shop thru AD for a super long time already..
Guinand dial... limited design... small time watch maker..
nonetheless I like the series 20 and 40 design.

SEIKO makes very good watch. from their cheapest one to their most expensive one, each piece is a serious timekeeping equipment. for each price bracket that they are in they deliver very good value versus any company and any watch in the market. rclxms.gif

ck77: the tissot is beautiful..great value for money indeed.

nobody got suggestions for rm6k-7k budget?

the tissot visodate does look good...have been searching for a silver face with brown strap. have been looking at nomos, archimede and stowa but was more incline to the nomos design. unfortunately, theres no distributor for nomos in malaysia...the nearest would be in s'pore. will maybe pop in watch guild tomorrow to have a look at the archimede pilot & arcadia models.

fyi, the tissot visodate will be in m'sia in the 2nd half of the year...its rrp is rm1820 (source from swatch group m'sia). maybe should wait for it!

yup, rm1820 is a really good price (just hope that the guy i spoke to from swatch group doesnt get the prices wrong!). moreover, he mentioned that we can check with the watch shops for additional discount!

The Archimede Pihot H they quoted is higher than online price, even after discount. But the good thing is you able to see and hold the watch in real before purchase.

hmmm....i think more people like Tag `design'...
as for Ball watches, its either you like it or not..especially the one you just showed...
As for quality, a lot of people seems to think Ball make good quality watches...

price/quality aside..ask yourself...can you look at the Ball dial everyday and still get excited? if yes, i think the Ball's the choice...

also, how often will you use the Tag subdials anyway?

most important...buy what YOU will like...all the best!

they need to make $$$ since they do have a physical store.
when they import watches, aren't they taxed?
