So, u should considering to get the latest iPhone, which could be launched by the time u are in ur business trip...

You might ask why:
1) local warranty
2) greater value if u take their package
3) official unlock set (does not requires unlock)

hi guys, i have a iphone 2g which i bought in 07, means to say its a software unlocked ones. sometime last yr i upgraded the firmware to 2.2.1 via pwnage.

but i wanna whether i could do a Official Unlock to the phone? so i can just update the firmware without caution, easier ma.

Yes it is software unlock ones. I dont think you can made it to official unlock phone.
Further, i2g has been discontinued for so long. Who is going to do for ya? Unless u might wanna consider local hardware technician.

Firstly, this is irrelevant to the topic.

And celcom does not carry iPhones, only Maxis and DiGi do for now.
You can find an entire list of pricing and payment plans on their websites if you bothered to even check.

last checked, those 'ridiculously' priced iPhones, don't fluctuate much from HTC, blackberry, nokia et cetera prices.

of course we are comparing apples with apples here (pun intended).

as in, I'm implying other manufacturers' smart phone equivalents.

and also i like to add that ive bought my iphone 3gs from maxis outright and as the compliment they give me a one month free 500mb data for a year and free airtime for a year too...

It's not even out hence how would we know what the prices are but if indications from the USA are to be used a benchmark, it would be about the same price as when i3GS was launched.

guys, I tried to get a cousin to get me the iphone4 but it seems like even the non-commitment phone at $599 , cant be purchased coz they are askin us to pay monthly data plan rate... can some1 tell me a way to get this phone pls... other then i have to get it from UK....
