Personally I would wait and see whats coming up this summer.

First of all, this thread serve no purpose. You don't have to open a new thread just to show how you feel about buying iphone now or never. The mod will drop by very soon i guess.

2ndly, 3gs don't need FEW years to be accepted by our telco. Roughly just ONE MONTH.

lol..what make u guys think our telco need "few years" to bring in new iphone?(maxis brought iphone to msia for only 1 year so what is "few years"?)
just look at last year when iphone 3gs released..

just wait if u wan better iphone or buy it now if u need it urgently

I am sure apple will make an iPhone that caters to our market. since they already have a market share in Malaysia already.

I dun understand why ppl are advising you to get the 3gs .

Iphone 3gs launched, it was about the same price as the previous iphone 3g.

I am assuming when 4g launches, we will get it for about the same price with the same plan.

Id rather wait the 2 - 3 months for it to come Well thats what I am doing. I never bothered to upgrade to 3gs from 3g. But i might make the jump to 4g

With reference to TS's posts, I want to add that my original Digi iPhone 3GS Black 32GB Part Number is MC133MY while the replacement iPhone 3GS Black 32GB I got from Digi today, the serial number is MB717LL. Therefore, not all iPhone 3GS part numbers start with MC*****.

The original MC133MY set was made during 1st week of March 2010 (check the third-fifth #'s of your serial number) while the replacement MB717LL set was made during 1st week of February 2010.

is it i can't send any file from iphone to other phone through bluetooth?

Yup.. the MicroSIM's gonna be launched but when is it coming? I don't think the actual MicroSIM's available as yet but this only means that Maxis is embracing for the 4th Generation iPhone + 3G iPad...

I just went to Apple Chadstone Australia. 2nd largest apple store in Australia aside from Sydney branch.

The manager told me it's going to be released at WWDC in USA June 7th. Available worldwide either on June 7th or several weeks later (late june)

In msia, i am not sure though. Could be very late.

If you are really interested in the iPhone you would have 'gotten wind' of the '4G' model, the news of which was so widely publicized.

If you did not, please spend some time reading the threads here which would give you your answer if you do not want to google it up.

want to ask about the iphone sold by some iphone suppliers, they take from telco like singtel then sell them, is it possible those phone sets are refurbished ones? coz i heard that Apple takes back faulted iphone from customers and then replace spoiled compartment and then sell again?
