Even Xenon can do something like 15hrs of gaming marathon without problem.

Internal stability problem will only surfaced approx 8 months later based on most of the older generation machine.

all Xbox 360 has a connector for it's snap on HDD.
you can buy these HDD off the shops or you can make it on your own (search this forum for guides).

An incompatibility that is oerlooked when M$ released the update is responsible for it and some reported tht it can be reversed. I'm not sure though

noob or not noob i just want to know if you guys have had any problems with the 'jasper' xbox360s and problems with warranty claims?
my first 360 dies over a year ago, which was about the time i disappeared from this forum laugh.gif
been sustaining myself on a diet of wii and ps3 ever since, but GOW 2 and Fallout 3 DLCs are sooo tempting!

Hi guys, is this really TRUE that the OLD 20GB HDD can trigger an RROD i mean i saw on youtube that their jasper got an ERROR E68.

Some are TRUE, Some are NOT.

You know what, I snapped back my hdd bcoz mine was still working till now. No corruption or nothin although I've already backed up some of my few save files into 256MB MU to me

So just continue using it until it break.

Why so worry about it? doh.gif

Most of us use 20GB HDD and most of the 3RRoD still due to console problem

What do you mean by that?!

somebody tell him about this. I don't wanna freak out here.

Bcoz mine is still worked till now. *great, do i Have to took it out over again?*

From what youtube guy named nikirfan says:-

It's quite weird, i've been using my 20GB HDD for 3 months now on my Jasper Arcade, I even played NFS Undercover installed on it. There's definitely nothing wrong using 20GB HDD.

Like PC's harddisk, when it fails, it'll show sign of stop fetching data from HDD and then die within hours or days.

There is no exception to XBOX360 harddisk. If console detect error on the mentioned HDD, it'll have 3RRoD on you.

Don't freak out, if it's not dead, keep on using it. you may consider backup your data but replacing it just because of fear to 3RRoD is like the mindset of "Zeppelin incident" and this is not good. There's only a small batch with such problem and if you're using for ages, it should serve you well within the 5 years lifespan
