cheap.. family gaming consoles.. more fun... interesting gadgets..

the reason for the bashing of wii now are the casual games flooding the market with not much serious games coming out...
there are nitendo fans who feel insulted at how nitendo has been treating them, giving more focus on casual household gamers than dieheart fans of memorable exclusives throughout the system...
other than this, i dun actually see any more rants about the wii system...

when the new zelda/mario/metroid etc comes out, they'll be happy and excited again...
the price is a huge factor for their market share now...
it ain't last gen, its innovative in my books...
jz hope for better games to come up...

I dont mind if they come out more games from their 1st party franchises but i rly hope they will put more ideas and innovation into their franchises instead of mario saving the same damn princess for the 100millionth time.... >.<

I guess the Wii has a way of appealing to non-gamers.My mom's 40+ years old friend bought a Wii from her trip to Australia,let my mom play it and now my mom wants one!And just yesterday my older sister was talking about buying one too.

Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Mario Kart, Smash Bros ALL CAME OUT within 2 years of Wii life span. Those those fans who felt insulted, I say FECK OFF.

N64 - Mario switch from 2D to 3D seamlessly with the analog control THAT WAS COPIED BY SONY & MICROSOFT

NGC - Not so much innovation, only the inclusion of the Water Pack.

Wii - One of the best control for Mario Game using the Wii mote PLUS the second player can join in any time to help Mario.

For me, that's enough ideas and innovation.

3 games to last the hardcore fans 2 whole years?
in these 2 years look at how many 'casual' games out there...

Its 5 games and not 2. BTW I'm havent include Animal Crossing and the new IP by Nintendo which is Disaster: Day of Crisis. Warioware could be considered a hardcore 2D Platforming game.

All in all this is 8 games which could satisfy many so called Ninty fans. 8 games which 5 comes from a top francise in 2 years is not bad ok.

What did Sony came out within 2 years? Gran tourismo - nope, GOW - not yet. What other top first party games from Sony that comes out within the last 2 years?

Please do not include any third party games and I'm actually responding to your posting on Nintendo not being fair to hardcore Nintendo fans.

BTW, could you please show me some of this hardcore fans in this forum that said they were mistreated by Nintendo for the last 2 years?

Casual games are still great fun if they're not shovelware (Rayman raving Rabbids, Carnival Games).

Its fun.... cheap in price.... and small (saves space). First, the main reason is, besides its get more lovers from teenagers, it also gets more owners by small kids, older guys, and girls (because of those cute cute games like Mario for instance). Unlike the Xbox and the PS3, it gets more teenagers customers and most of them are boys, unlike the wii, they don't have much cute games (lol).

wii is fun at first i tried it. but it gets bored after 3 days.

I am very puzzled by the continuos claim that Wii has no hardcore games. I really don't want to waste my time counting hardcore games one by one, for Wii-Haters, they will always argued the games you listed are not hardcore.

Also, honestly I don't see casual gaming "flooding" the market on Wii. Wii just have got more games, hence chances of shovelware is much higher. Look at PS2. The winning console always get more craps, no?

The losing console will always have the "best" library, consist of mostly quality games. Look at GameCube & PS3. Cause nobody dare to try new thing on a small user base, and the console owner will published more good games to win customers.

My GC was sold after I finised Twin Snakes but for PS3, have you tried, Eye of Judgement, LBP,Super Rub A Dub? Those are innovative games.

Saturn, Dreamcast, yep yep. Correct.

Who would take risk with PS3 besides SONY?
First party would always try harder, that is why GC being a sinking ship,

bro, what do u mean by A LOT of great titles from nintendo? the amount is almost the same as 1st party ps3 and xbox titles.
