Relax neogeocdz, they are all pros and cons in every progression of each single console.

I just finished some ps3 games yesterday, those tops games rated above 9.0 from most rating site.

Sometimes, i wonder, what make the other console games much more appeal to me than those games in wii. (Must stress this, very personal opinion here). For me, i think is the production of the game. Let's look at 2 different games, MGS4 (PS3) and Mario Galaxy(wii). Both are very high rated game for eachh platform, played differently and had beed exclusive for their respective cnsole.

Now you might think MGS4 is much more fun cause its come from an HD console? Not really, i dont find MGS4 really that appealing in sense of gameplay, etc. same goes to Mario galaxy. But then, is up to individual taste.

I am not a MGS fans, never like stealth games, and I am not mario fan too, never really like the mario gameplay too (SMG or mario paper). But when picking a game which you might not like (Say you dont have much games to play anymore), i will go for MGS4 all the way. At least by watching the cinematic worth every penny i paid for that game. That just again my personal view.

Fans will always support each of their console, put the fans aside, we got ourselves with people who prefer what they will enjoy in each of their game.

And for the last time, the question for why wii dominate? How wouldnt they dominate? THey are meant for everybody. Ps3/xbox360 are mostly meant for gamers, but wii? Is meant for everyone..... Imagine wii as the rice cooker, is started to become a dominating household appliances. Kudos to wii for their success, I already stop thinking about wii trying to get mature or adult or aggresive games, as long as wii continue to serve it purpose, we all can hope 3-5 years from now, there is at least a toy/videogame console which is suitable for our beloved children

BWT, most of the ps3 and xbox are made by third party, Sony may have some, like god of war and gran turismo. While nintendo has so much 1st party, made by nintendo them self.

Yes, i agree.
Just because I love my Wii & 360, it doesn't makes PS3 stinks.
LBP is a game i really like to try, but no money for a new console for now.

Also instead of those big big and buff guys holding those bad ass guns shooting here and there non stop.

That is right.
Nintendo's titles always sold well, because Nintendo is a great video game maker.
During the GC days, Nintendo almost became the only viable publisher on GC, cause GC's sales stinks.

Jenniferjen...u're like me..we both bought the wii first but then migrated to the ps3. Why? Coz i think my reason is the same as u n i need not elaborate further. I still keep the wii n wait for some decent title to my liking comes along again (eg: like RE4, zelda n metroid )

My opinion, i would play both MGS and MARIO

During the days of PS1 and PS2 when Sony sold by the bucket load, we held up and pay our respect to Sony since they knew the way to market it.

Now that NINTENDO HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD why can't you guys (the so called hardcore gamers konon) give the same respect and instead bashing it up?

I goes by a different road, I first bought my Wii, then went on to get 360 for Halo 3,
and now i find i spent more time on Wii. (Blame animal crossing!)

I didn't mention FOR THE PS3, i said SONY not PS3. And I agree, they should give the same respect. Fun games could be better than hardcore.

Thats the problem with them, always claim they are hardcore gamers.

me also wii owner before getting a ps3 but unlike u guys, i still like the wii better. both console also i support ori so it's not because wii has access to lanun and i can try more games on it.

ps3? didn't really play it much since mgs4... having been fed on a constant diet of quality 3rd party games on the ps1&2 i simply can't accept sony first-party game strategy. i didn't fookin buy a ps3 to play LBP or blu-ray, i want my games!

like most, i also tend to prefer 3rd party games and so far, the 3rd party support on the wii is improving. afterall they tend to stay/come as exclusive and u certainly can't say the same about most of the other two consoles.

i think the term hardcore and casual is misleading...it's more towards bunuh2 themed gamer

the term is always being misused...for me hardcore means u play games sampai keras no matter what type game it is.

sony can't afford to make fans wait for gran turismo 5
at least we got a game... can play online racing somemore.. marvel at the gfx
also GOW3 is in development rather being cancelled here n there for others...

Likewise i really miss SEGA since they left, also at same time glad that Nintendo is back into the limelight

To me, those blu-ray2 stuff are just gimic. U buy a gaming console to play games, not for the blu-ray thing. And yes, third party support is indeed improving, take Monster Hunter for instance, they launched all thier games on the PSs, but now they are launching Monster Hunter 3 just for the wii. Atari also said they won't be developing games for Sony anymore. So as capcom(after RE5, but thats a rumor, dunno true or not)

lol? i thought Gran Turismo 5 edi outlong ago at PS3? since they promote it so much at the early day of PS3 (ard 2006)
