Does it usually take very long to back up User Files from the Nokia Device memory? Because it's been ages and it's still stuck at 8%. I only used like 6GB on my Mass Memory.

I already backed up my contacts, messages, calendar etc. though.

There is really no need to backup your applications as upgrading firmware will not affect your applications at all. All you need is backing up your contacts,mp3s,files etc.

Just open as a drive as hasyir said, make sure you enable your PC to view all hidden files and folders, select all and copy and paste. Its going take forever if you use ovi/pc suite to backup 6GB of stuff! Copy and paste also gonna take quite long as it is!

When that is done, when you perform backup on ovi or pc suite again, no need to backup mass memory but back up everything else.

Jesus Christ.

Does Nokia want me to swim through the 7 seas in order to get myself a firmware update?

I went to 1Utama and they told me since it's 7pm I've to go back tomorrow, earlier.

You think upgrade firmware is like buy John King egg-tarts meh ? tongue.gif The actual process may need 30 minutes or more. If problem, may delay 1-2 hours. Their next best answer is maybe to leave your phone here and collect tomorrow lunch time, which I think most users are not willing and the shops not willing also, in case of break-in / theft. Cheers
