it's rm 12 min, no minimum rm10k required until you decided to buy shares then you deposit the amount you want to buy. I am a Remisier with Cimb at Tropicana City Office, don't be confused, you can pm your phone/email add to me, I will help to clarify any questions.

Thanks

Is this RM10k apply only for cash on margin account? What about account without margin? Still need RM10k?

About day trade 0.15% for CIMB securities, what does that mean? Does that mean if I do day trading (buy and sell in the same day) I will only be charged 0.15% brokerage, stamp duty, contract fees, etc?

Well then, I guess I am more comfortable being a positional trader than a day trader. They say 80% of day traders experience loss throughout their trading history. Day trading will rely heavily on technical analysis, and that has 50:50 probability (read luck).

Depend on your trading style, day trading, swing trading or position trading has it's pros and cons. Regardless what trading style your adopt, important is you must practise:

1) good money or risk management
2) trading psychology
3) trading edge

yes. It is a cash account not margin account. Comm is 0.42% and 0.15% for day trade. For margin account it is BLR-2% ( one of the best rate in market ) if you can control the leverage well it will be good facilities to capitalise on a bullish market, however do bear in mind it will be a double-edged sword.

Hi, looking for an alternative online trading platform that is lower in brokerage. Currently on OSk188 and brokerage is 0.49% although I get interest for money in trust and credit.

Noticed there is a new service called Clicks Traders which charges only RM8.88 per matched order. Anyone using this? Anyone can advise pros and cons ?

One more thing .. Does Clicks Traders allow Mobile Trading ? OSK188mobile charges RM20 per month and doesn't work on Android.

Cheers

Ciick trader is rm8.88 per trade, but u need to maintain rm10k in ac example: if you have 50k in ac, you can trade up to 40k. It is so cheap because it is basically a cash ac and can only trade online. Pro: cheap and one rate regardless contract amt ( 5k, 10k, 1000k etc) , cons: cash upfront and online only

normal itrade is rm12 and 0.42%, interest pay to u if u have balance in ac currently 2.25%.

Online trade on ipad and iPhone is FREE, online trade ac no maintainance fees

pm me if you would like to open ac.

Thanks, manage to find it on new version of iTrade.

How to calculate the fees and commission, I recall it is extremely costly compared to buy 1 lot (100 units).

I plan to get 44 units @ RM 1.90 each.
