How to buy or sell odd lot using iTrade?

Thanks, manage to find it on new version of iTrade.

How to calculate the fees and commission, I recall it is extremely costly compared to buy 1 lot (100 units).

I plan to get 44 units @ RM 1.90 each.

Look for [Click here if you unable to see the stock price...] on the top of the page and click on it.

If still cannot see, it is because your office firewall has blocked the port used by iTrade.

I just received letter from CIMB Sec about the Custodian Fees.

a) 4 cents per 1,000 shares, charged quarterly.
b) RM 200 safekeeping fee, yearly.

I am a small investor only, dividen received also cannot cover the fees. So I plan to close the Securitised Nominees Trading Account (ST).

My questions are,

1. I saw my profile has two types of account, one is ST and another one is Non-Margin. Does it mean the Non-Margin equals to Securitised Direct Trading Account (Pledged Account) ?

2. To move my shares in ST to this Direct Trading Account, I am required to fill in another form at their branch, do they charge on the conversion process?

3. I am required to make reply within 14 days from the date of this letter (which is Feb 9), argh...but I only received this letter yesterday (Feb 25) by post, argh...not that strict right?

4. After the conversion, will I still able to use the online trading platform? Any drawback or more hassle?

I actually don't like how the Nominees Trading Account works, cause every time the dividen they charged me processing fee, I rather receive the cheque and bank-in myself


Just to answer my own questions cause I have settled it at Tropicana branch today.

1. Non-Margin is for me to apply IPO, they will close both accounts, and you need to apply a new CDS. No charges.

2. No charges.

3. Is okay, not that strict.

4. Yes.

The officer told me CIMB sec will absorb all the costs, so you need to go there to fill in some forms. Hope it helps.

Found out this,

CDS Transfer Fee
As per Bursa Depository charges, RM10 per counter

hmm...quite costly.

I completed the new CDS opening and transfer application during March, due to the custodian fee on nominee account.

The officer said existing login can be used, cause they will do the linkage, but until today, I am still seeing same old CDS account, and my shares still have not yet transferred.

Anyone have done their transfer?

I filled all the application forms on Mar 25, and even open a cross border trading at the same time, until today still no news, isn't it weird? Called to Tropicana Mall branch, no one pick up phone...eh!

Just called, give excuse like backend issue, but didn't tell me exact reason and asked me not to do any trading until next week, while they will handle my case in priority

I remember last year I applied to close the ST account due to they want to charge custody fee, if not mistaken RM200 a year.

However, the account is still active even after I complete the closing application. Anyone facing same situation as well?

Wht is Min Qty in BUY? Minumum quality for?
