i just checked my monthly statement suddenly received RM1.31

It's bank interest.

A broker is required to place its customers extra cash in a bank trust account. This account gets some interest and the broker pass some of this bank interest to you. The interest rate will vary by broker, some don't even give I think.

P/S strictly speaking there is no such thing as "money in cds". CDS is the name of the account where your shares are deposited with Bursa. Your extra cash are deposited in a trust account with a bank.

The interest rate for TradeBeyond account is even lower than the normal trading account.

hi, i sold Alibaba (HKD) on 25th Feb. but until today the fund is still not in my trading account. is this normal?

anyone know how long does it usually takes for the fund from oversea market to be deposited into my trading account ?

check your bank acc.

if u did not specify correctly when selling, the HKD may be changed to RM and sent to yr bank acc.

Not in my bank account also. Anyway, just called customer service to check.

The fund is in another trust fund (Hong kong trust fund). so it wont show in the regular e-settlement page.
